The level of intelligence required to enter university is quite low. However, the number of men who are below that threshold far exceeds the number of women.

This is true. Men's intelligence varies much more, women tend to cluster in the center of the bell curve. There are more male geniuses and more male morons, so as long as college is at the level where midwits can manage through, this should be expected.

It has to do with the reason more men are diagnosed with ADHD
Men are meant to be hunters. They are not designed to sit still.
Women are gatherers. They are designed to sit and do one task for long periods of time.
A successful man needs to be active and take risks. And by successful I mean procreate.
A successful women simply needs to not get killed and do her task.
 
My son is 19 now and going to college. Good on him with that ratio, but clearly the social engineering the Leftists pushed is "working".

When he was in Middle School, I noticed they had special funded programs for the girls in Engineering and Science. I called the school to ask if they had anything like these advanced programs for boys. Nope.

I've heard that colleges already see this problem and some are quietly lowering admission standards for males. That's not good either. When you play these stupid games, you get stupid results. Then again, tons of guys are probably far better off with skilled labor positions.

This too. I think the average woman is more suited to the typical classroom than the average woman.

They're doing programs like that exclusively for girls because of the huge disparity in male enrollment in stem majors vs. female. If they did the equivalent for males you'd see curriculum designed for males in liberal studies programs such as psychology, sociology, women's studies etc. Then you'd be likely complaining about schools trying to feminize and indoctrinate young males.

There is a difference between men and women politically but not enough to explain this even assuming you were right

No friends. 40 years of radical transformation of our school system is at cause. Gone is P.E. . Boys are forced to sit still in ways that are unnatural to them so they act out and when they do like guards in a prison female teachers with gender studies degrees ruin their lives.

We need to bring back teaching civics, the Classics, Latin, and have more P.E. And most importantly we need to hire more male teachers who can relate to boys.

When I went to school it was a sausage fest. Not Harvard or anything before they allowed girls - but an Engineering and Ag school I went to was almost as bad.

Meh. I'm not going to encourage my son to go to university. I'd trade my mechanical engineering degree for a trade or power engineering diploma if I had to do it over.
