Hard for me to pick, but it's either The Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby.

I got to think about this one.

I don't think they've ever had a good album other than Joshua tree.

If by best you mean least worst than none really stand out.

Picking the best U2 albums is like Picking the nicest guy in Prison.....

Probably War from what I've heard although I haven't got around to the Unforgettable Fire yet which my RYM friends list suggest I'll like.

I think Achtung Baby fucking sucks personally.

Achtung Baby was my introduction to them but I have to go with The Joshua Tree due to having higher highs and less fat.

They were my life as a teenager. Joshua Tree changed my life but Unforgettable Fire has a Sort of Homecoming. Made me tear up driving into Joshua Tree listening to Joshua Tree 35ish years after being so obsessed with it as a kid.
My husband's been buying me a load of U2 vinyl and tshirts lately.

I went off them a bit after Rattle and Hum but I wasn't fond of Achtung either at the time.
I liked Pop, and How to Dismantle was crazy. Only got into Songs of Innocence recently, and I adore it.

U2 is so boring.

I can’t imagine people really, truly like them.

Their music is just highly polished filler.

I also had to choose between Joshua Ttee and Achtung Baby, and I decided on Joshua Tree. I almost chose Rattle and Hum just because no one has voted for it and it deserves some love. Rattle and Hum is an underrated record.

I kinda like their song "Vertigo". That's it.

Around Achtung Baby and Zooropa they had a ABC TV special that featured a bunch of good songs and maybe some covers not on the CDs.

It kind of turned into that around the early-mid 90s but they were once young and hungry and had something to say.
