Law UPDATE w/ DEADLINE Biden to Unveil Vaccine Mandate For Federal Workforce

just sayin, but you guys are shifting your own shit repeatedly.
By shifting, do you mean my "majority" statement?

Your below distinction is worthwhile, I agree...

'majority of people who spread' =/= anything about rate of transmission.

the vaccinated are the majority of people who spread covid. but their transmission rate should be a bit lower than that of unvaccinated, all other things (ie: masks) equal.

I agree with what you posted here.

Maybe if you keep saying it, the vax nazis will understand. Nah...no chance
To be fair to @blaseblah , I should have clarified that vaccination status makes "little difference," regarding patient exposures, not "no difference."

Otherwise yeah, it's confusing how folks are ignoring that the vaccinated catch and spread covid at significant rates, and therefore pose a risk for ongoing community spread.

Ignoring much like but not as badly as natural immunity...

Protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated is such a contradicting statement. If the vaccine works they should have nothing to worry about from people that are not vaccinated.
Many that are vaccinated have children that are unvaccinated.

I'm Federal and had to fill out a form last week regarding vaccination status. I work in a military hospital. Most people I know are vaccinated, especially physicians, most nurses and other healthcare providers. Not that I know everyone that works here, but there are definitely a decent amount that is unvaccinated. In the clinics I cover every physician is vaccinated, every RN but 1, most of the other providers/ancillary staff and most of the techs, although I know serveral techs that are unvaccinated. At least they were a month or so ago.

Small hospitals are always trying to get out of the OB business. It's generally a money loser departments and hard to maintain. Small hospital administrators are always afraid of cutting OB departments because of the public relations nightmare that it causes.

It looks like these administrators found a way to cut OB and blame Biden/covid. I am also guessing there is another OB department at a near by hospital that can pick up the deliveries.

The left 6 months ago: We are going to build back better!

The left now: Eh, OB care is a money loser. Who cares if hospitals don't have maternity wards anymore?

The media and the government have empowered them to think this way. It's why they think of the unvaccinated as scum that don't care about other people while their protection is hardly any better than of the unvaccinated. Meanwhile they wear their virtue signaling cloth masks around that do nearly fuck all for protection and think that they now deserve to go on living a normal life from here on out while the unvaccinated must be subjected to a lower level of freedom as a punishment for not joining them in the race to get a pat on the head from the authoritarians.

Looking at all the states vaccination rates, lots are below 50% or just above it for those eligible. If this mandate actually goes through the amount of employees big businesses are going to lose cause of this is going to be mind boggling. Especially in general labour.

Besides a slight uptick in vaccinations I really don’t see what this accomplishes besides bankrupting many giant companies which in turn will leave vaccinated employees without a job. You can’t run a business when you lose 30% of your staff..

“hey Jim, I know you’re against the vaccines but in order for you to keep your minimum wage job here you have to be vaccinated”

Jim - “later..

this is not the same argument, at all, as:

ffs. you guys either don't know what your own keywords mean or you're just intentionally disingenuous.

I'm making the assumption that most people understand the relationship between infection and transmission, as well as the relationship between population and spread. Clearly we're not going to do the ad hominem attacks rather than have a grown up conversation though.

Children are the least risk group for Covid.

And ironically, like with chicken pox, the best strategy is to just let them get it. Children are extraordinarly well protected from Covid. In some entire countries there isn't a single child death except with extreme comorbodities like them being on chemo or something. Its much better for the children to catch it young and build their immunity while the disease is harmless to them.

lolz @ accusing me of ad-hom. cite it. you won't.

and lolz @ being obtuse regarding the goalpost shift i mentioned. i had just (re)quoted the original argument, so i can't even give you any benefit of the doubt. either you don't know what the keywords mean or you're deliberately being disingenuous.

Remember when Trump was called a dictator? Keep that same energy now.
Wow, look at all those likes, like this somehow equates to Trump's baseless grab for power while attacking our democratic process.

Mandating vaccines during a pandemic compared to stealing an election.

They're both pretty shitty moves. They can both be authoritarian assholes, you know.

There was I believe a study by Harvard saying zero healthy children have died from Covid. Even a doctor said we may have screwed ourselves by closing schools and requiring children to wear masks when they could have helped wipe out COVID-19.

They could have helped wipe out covid how? Masks and quarantines hampered that how?
