This is the perfect example of why you're a dishonest hack, you need to be quoted saying "hoax" for you to consider yourself being wrong..... But you need charges filed against Gaetz for you to not consider the media being wrong when the claim the media made was that Gaetz was under investigation for possible sex trafficking..... Not that he would be charged or that he committed an offense.

Did the media say he was convicted of something or would be convicted of something? No, then that shouldn't be the standard for saying the media lied. The media said he was under investigation, so unless the FBI says he was never under investigation then you can't say the media was pushing a false narrative....innocent until proven guilty, right?

Shit, even those who hate me know my track record is damn good. You are just pissed because I was correct in a certain thread and you just could not come to grips you were wrong. Ok, this story is approaching 10 months old, so can someone give a summary why Matt Gaetz still hasn't been arrested yet?

Seemed like a sure thing he was guilty given what was initially reported, and Gaetz did himself no favors going on Tucker Carlson and giving one of the most bizarre interviews ever.

Personally, I don't like him. He seems like a slimy corrupt politician usually seen on the left, but he's on the right, saying the typical talking points to satisfy his Trump-Supporting base.

But if everything the media has been saying about him is legit, why hasn't the FBI arrested him yet?

Eventually, and I always conceded they could come. All I was saying was what you're saying here, let's wait to see how this plays out before drawing conclusions, and you called me every name under the sun. You called me a rape apologist and slut shamer, and encouraged others of your tribe to do the same.

I hate most media these days, liberal or conservative. Liberal media is loving the Gaetz thing because it's juicy despite the fact rich guys almost never go down for crimes like this. Conservative media took the Loudoun thing and ran with the trans narrative which completely fell through, which I I realized was going to happen pretty early on.

I hate all these guys. I studied journalism thirty years ago (same school as Helwani but earlier) and we were all told journalism was dying, and they were right. Everything's happening so quickly on the internet it doesn't matter who's right, people are only told what they want to hear. One of the worst stories I've seen covered in years was Rittenhouse in liberal media. Unforgiveable.

-First it was that the media narrative would prove to be false (whatever the fuck you meant by that). But then it turned into a serious federal criminal case that has resulted in two people close to Gaetz pleading guilty and cooperating with federal investigators.

-And then it was that, ok, I guess I'll admit that this is something, but it doesn't rise to the level of Russia collusion hoax! And what an awesome and really specific standard that would be.

-Then it moved to well he hasn't been charged with anything yet. But it looks like that's right around the corner now.

-So now we've arrived at, he hasn't been convicted yet.

Do you want to just get it out of the way now and tell us just how far you're willing to move those goalposts? The fact that you would sit in the pocket like this, and insist your predictions in this thread have been anything short of dead wrong, is truly a sight to behold. Especially when anyone can just go back to the start of this thread and read your posts for themselves.
