The police are investigating it as an act of terrorism.

Apparently he was well-known to the cops previously. Iranian-born dude, in his 40s, who is a citizen of Norway, with an extensive record of petty crime and suspected violent crimes. Also said to have a history of mental illness.

It should be noted that he also shot up a regular club next to the gay club but so far the police believe in a hate crime motive, due to the timing and the shooter's background.

Police apprehended the shooter three minutes after arriving on the scene, I guess these mostly non-armed cops could teach the Uvalde cops a thing or two.

Kirra isn't gay. It could very well be bait for exactly those kinds of replies, because the forum does in fact hate "gay people" and puts a disproportionate amount of stock into sexuality. On topic, this is just another reason to avoid the "out and proud" rainbow establishments. And even then, I'm still armed at parties, places and venues people have no clue even exist.
