Time is rarely kind...
I honestly thought it was a Sherbro shoop making them look like old men at first.

Chandler is the #5 LW vs unranked Conor, and the fight may end up being at 170. What's the problem?

Oh no! Not fun fights!

What a nightmare.

It'll be a fun fight and I'll enjoy watching it, but the UFC has already shown a willingness to use Welterweight fights to push Conor up the Lightweight rankings if he wins for one.

Secondly, Chandler has been given numerous chances to succeed in "fun fights" that are also high-profile in nature and has been on the cusp of title contention ever since coming into the UFC despite a fairly lackluster run thus far. He should arguably be playing gatekeeper right now and letting someone like Arman, Jailin (if he beats Dan), etc. a chance to climb the rankings.

I like fun fights, I just also like a system where contenders fight each other on merit and where divisions aren't constant logjams and where we have "divisions within a division" wherein everyone outside the Top 5 occasionally have to cannibalize one another. At least Fiziev is finally getting a shot at Gaethje. I'm fine with guys like Chandler, Poirier, etc. deciding to transition to the "glamour fight" stage of their career, but the UFC should really consider pulling them from the rankings in that case.

Looks like a bit of fun, I don't think Chandler's going to be able to maintain his "good guy" image once he's faced with Conor's inherent irish shit talking.

If Chandler gets reckless like he did in his last fight, he will likely be slept.

Fun twist, Chandler'z out for injury after taping teh show, & Nate 3 replacez in teh main event for international fight week.

Intentional or not, this reminded me of when Dana mocked Lyman Good and Bellator when he got eliminated before getting into the tuf house
Weird flex by Dana since Lyman had lost his title and a couple of bouts long before that time

it makes sense. milkin that cash cow for all it's worth. although at some point he's going to become completely irrelevant, to the point where they can't even use him anymore. maybe they give him a talk show or something.

Chandler is probably the most overrated fighter in the UFC, but he should win this one. A loss against this version of Conor would be embarrassing.

He lost a round against a complete washed Ferguson, though, so not a bad fight for Conor to take.

Nah, the fix is already in.

Chandler knowingly and gladly surrenders to be the sacrificial lamb for this ceremonious phallic worship.

Chandler COULD handle Connor easily. We all know Chandler doesn't have a high fight IQ. He should wrasslefuck Conor and TKO him. However, Chindler will stand with Connor and get KO'd. No way he can take a Connor punch square on the chin and not leave conciousness.
