That's where your argument falls apart, or at least is weakened significantly, since Disney running the special district has no effect on anyone other than those in the surrounding area. I’m not threatening anybody. I don’t work for Disney, or any of its subs, It’s pretty self evident, however that Disney is an incredibly powerful and exceptionally well funded organization, and if they so decide to relocate, they absolutely could do so.

Nearly all that infrastructure you mention is aging, and much of it is inefficient.
Florida is a good fit for Disney, no doubt, but they will only bend so far. Do you imagine that relocation has not already been a topic of discussion on the executive level @ Disney?

DeSantis wants to curry favour with his base by fucking with Disney, and I think it’s a mistake. He’s got overwhelming support in Fl, he should use that to his advantage rather than squandering the goodwill he currently enjoys.

I was arguing the logistical side of building a new Disney Land, not the political differences end of it.
And I disagree with the aging infrastructure comment. Take a look at structures like the Hoover dam, empire state building, etc., older than Disney and still functioning. They have maintenance crews repairing, restoring and replacing stuff on the regular, shut downs cost more than regular maintenance.

Weren't you also suggesting that there was something unconstitutional about Twitter banning people? Funny how the constitutional supposedly ensures that people can post to specific sites but there's no issue when the governor tries to force people to agree with him or face sanctions by the gov't.

The government cannot use social media a major source of communication with constituents, then "work with" the companies and bribe them to censor criticism and block constituents. The courts already ruled that Trump couldn't block people on twitter because it's a violation of their speech rights, so how is it different if the politician just gives subsidies to the company to have them do it for him?
