Media Sean Strickland breaks down crying on Theo Von’s podcast | UPDATE: Video in OP

Theo Vons content is like 98% comedy/humor. That's what makes this out of place. Sean couldn't have this convo with someone like Tyson on his podcast? Or someone more about this kind of thing?

Theo was expecting to have some bullshit conversations and have some fun but then realized "ooh shit... Wtf is this?" 😬

Just like in here folks. Different forums for different topics.

People far too open about personal instances of childhood abuse and neglect. This isn’t for public consumption or knowledge. All it does is make people feel uncomfortable.
What a bitchy attitude. If it makes you uncomfortable you can suck somebody's dick.

It's good that this kind of stuff is shared. Lots of kids go through this in secret and keeping it a taboo topic works against the victims and in the abusers' favor.

Yeah, nobody should talk about their lives. And when they do, they should repress the important stuff.

It's an interview with him, what do you want him to do?

I also read people on average only disclose this stuff in their 40s. The norm is that people are quiet about it for far longer than is healthy for themselves or for society.

Of course though, people shoul pay attention to whether they're making other people uncomfortable too though, unless making the other person uncomfortable is part of giving the listener a reality check about life is on other sides of the tracks.

Ah fuck it, a good cry makes us all feel better afterwards. I reckon Sean would benefit from some counseling/ therapy. If he cant go on a comedy podcast without breaking down in tears theres obviously some underlying problems that could be helped.

Perhaps talking to strangers like Theo about his deep traumas is not the right thing to do.

My dad was an alcoholic and picked my locked bedroom door and put a gun to my head at 18yrs old thinking I was a stranger breaking into the house.

Until I talked about it as a 40+ year old, it was something weighing me down all these years.

Glad I shared it and let it go.

Good for Sean for having strength to share that type of shit.

Edit- some prick questioned me and said I’m a liar looking for attention.
That’s the same type of bullshit that made me not open up for 22+ years. The stigma of men not talking.

Whoever you were, mods must of deleted your comment. Anyways go fuck yourself, real life if you said that to me I’d cave your fucking face in and you be swallowing your teeth.

But this is social media, cowards can say what they want with no consequences.
