A serious question to you all about me writing a weight training book.

I'll get to it! Give me a break! It takes a full hour to upload a video! Good grief bro! Stop being a bully! I would still have to record myself first, edit it, and then spend a full hour uploading it!

I am about to link to all of you here my squat from three years ago dammit! Knock it off! Don't you have anything better to do than bully a gifted troll like me?? I work, I write, I read, and most importantly, I lift! On top of that, I have a social life to lead! Give me a break! I am working today despite being a weekend!

I last uploaded a lifting video almost 10 years ago, and it didn't take anything like an hour even back then.

Meanwhile, since I’m on my computer, I’ll link to you all my 395 squat from years ago… I’m just embarrassed about my upper body development from back then. I’m visibly way more muscular now on my upper body compared to then. Back then I was basically a T-Rex.

See that wasn't so hard. Except your 105lbs off your supposed amount that should be lifted after training for that period. That squat video was also uploaded years prior when you linked the account, so I don't understand how it was any harder than your first video to post in this thread. All you did was upload a youtube video that had already been uploaded years ago. You did prove me wrong if that is you though. We will see once the super explosive 225 clean makes it into the thread with a little shout out to Sherdog.

How can a clean (or a snatch) ever be not explosive? lol. They're not deadlifts man. lol. It's impossible to slow down on them. It's redundant to add that adjective before the word.

Also, even though I had a setback, I am really not far away from accomplishing my first 225-pound power clean. I really do pull that barbell very high when doing four or five reps of them at 225. The only major issue is my garbage flexibility on basically all my joints. No excuses. I was too lazy to do actual flexibility training. Judo was kicking my ass.

Also... I gotta develop the agility to catch it fast too... And that can be another project.

Aside from that, I'm less than three months away from accomplishing it. That's my estimation.

Correction above... I pull that 225-pound barbell high on "pulls". Clean pulls to be precise. I currently can do five reps of them at that weight.

Nobody ever does pulls in my gym man... I feel alone. Such an underrated exercise.

You went from lifting for 1 year initially pre xmas, to 2 years and now you are actually posting up videos from 14 years ago. The reality is in 15 years you haven't progressed whilst saying you are a weightlifting athlete focused on improving that specific sport. I haven't said a single bad thing about your lifting, just called out the bullshit claims and trolling.

You came here talking crap about other people who can actually outlift you at your best all time and aren't even strength focused athletes. Instead of talking about writing books and other people, maybe you should consider actually just starting a log here and training with some regularity. Everytime you claim something, it comes with a caveat "Not doing squat focused training, on a cut, not training regularly, busy at work"

Just train dude, if you haven't done the lift in the last 3-6 months, it's not your current number.

This goes one of two ways.

Responses like the one above in bold. Or @Baby Hanma actually starts training and gets that 500lb squat at some point and shows me up.
 
Ive squat 500 before but didn't record it as I felt at the time it was just another training day and not anything special roughly a decade ago right before I went bowling. I have learned over time from here that your word isn't good enough. I don't know if I will squat 500 again but it is likely possible. Maybe he isn't just trolling given the fact that he has posted a video?

He hasn't claimed a 500lb squat. He talked shit about me not squatting 500lb, when I challenged him on it, it came out he had never done that either and it’s now come out he has trained the same length of time after the above post.

Initially he said he had only trained 1 year, then it was 2 years and now it comes out he has actually been training atleast 15 years with no progression during that time. Look at the topic of the thread from TS and the content of his posts between these threads. His story keeps changing.

I haven’t gone after his lifting at all, just his trolling posts.
