Baddest man on the planet is the guy that walks out of a room where the two are locked in NHB if you put them in there tomorrow. How can you be the baddest man on the planet if there's another guy that can put you on your ass and literally beat you to death?
Most pure BJJ guys probably fall out of contention due to the almost necessity of them putting themselves in a position to get slammed on their heads.
I'm pretty sure the general consensus is the world's best heavyweight MMA fighter takes it, as even the most casual fans understand the increased dynamics and skill ceiling in MMA.

The UFC could turn anyone with decent athleticism and a specialized skill into a title contender.

Is it such a stretch that an elite athlete, massive HW, and world class boxer like AJ could become HW champ? No, theres actually a high probability that he would. Give him a year of focused training in MMA, some favorable matches, and I would bet on it.

He made MMA heavyweights look like gold against Fury and then turned it all to shit against Joshua. If he got blown out like that without the Fury fight in between, MMA would be a laughing stock. Plenty of MMA guys have hung in there against world class boxers without being smoked in 2 rounds.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO TS-With the exception of Jones the UFC HW champ was NEVER considered the baddest man in MMA. You're just copypasta the boxing thing. We see guys like Ngannou and Gane with limited training rise to the top of the HW division. A boxer with 1 yr take down defense could come over and start scorching these guys.
