Depends on the strikes landed obviously. But if both are landing similar type strikes (power shots) I don't see why moving forward matters. So the guy moving away or waiting to counter is slightly more effective but he should be penalized? My opinion is no, but that's just me.
I suppose if a guy NEVER moved forward AT ALL that's different. Because if neither guy did, it would be a staring contest. But Dodson did pick a few spots where he did. He initiated a few exchanges. Meaning he wasn't there to run, he was there to fight. Just not in a phone booth. And if he was more effective (and I think he was, if barely), he shouldn't be penalized for it.
Just don't know what to say. Some of u seem to have just seen it different. I'm not saying Lineker clearly won. But I had a good feeling he would win. And I wasn't sweating it. I'm actually surprised no judge had it 49-46. I'm sorry, but Dodson actually did run at times. And it cost him.
