You could flip it around and say the opposite about their first fight - that Adesanya was destroying Pereira until the "hail Mary" KO. Adesanya was up three rounds and going to be up four when he got caught in last round. He had also won the first round in their second fight (on all three scorecards) and got the KO the second round.

It might just be time to accept how remarkable Adesanya's talents are, given that he was able to do that to a natural LHW who has run over almost everyone else he's faced.
