Opinion Complete and utter disgrace.....

I don't see how we justify classifying the Taliban as a terrorist organization then leave them that much gear.

Sounds like American propaganda to justify the economic war. China is a global superpower, they have scientists in China that do the exact same things that American scientists do.

You don't know what you're talking about. It's well known that there are many fields within engineering where China is way behind the rest of the developed world, and they can only compete by copying designs from other countries. If it was purely American propaganda, why would other countries go along with trade restrictions? And why would it matter to China - for instance, why does China want to buy ASML EUV machines if they're capable of building them themselves?

We thought that shit was what we were equipping tha Afgjan army with. You want to blame someone for it falling into Taliban hands, take it up with them.

Listen man, we knew that shit wasn't going to hold. The president fled the country the second he heard we were leaving. Are you saying we aren't smart enough to know we should have destroyed most of that shit?

I certainly do. You've just been indoctrinated to see China as inferior to America and that makes you come out with such nonsense. All of these global superpowers have billion dollar spy programs and I would say they all have stolen valuable technology from one another. But it's propaganda to say that China steals technology from other countries, as if they do things differently compared to America. This propaganda is used to justify sanctions and all the other US sympathizers go along with it because beneath the facade there is a long list of countries with the same banking families behind them, the banking families which own the Federal Reserve and profit from every dollar created out of thin air. China is a global superpower with billions of dollars to throw into technology just like America, they don't need to steal anything because believe it or not they actually have science in China too.

None of it is any threat to us. If anything the Taliban will be using it to fight of ISIS.

You lost the moment you stepped foot in Afghanistan. Getting the hell out of there is the closest thing to a victory that the United States can have in that situation.

The U.S. should've pulled out the moment they realized that Bin Laden had left the building. There was no reason to stay, outside of the U.S. feeling like they needed to have a military stronghold in the Middle East.

No, I'm actually an engineer that has worked for a company that had their IP stolen by Chinese companies. This company designed and sold semiconducting manufacturing equipment and a member of our science team got an email from someone in China asking a question about using our machines, however it was a customer he didn't know. (These are low volume machines so we tend to know where our items are) After a brief internal investigation we ended up just asking the person, where did you get this thing, and they told us - it was a Chinese company that had bought one of our machines, reverse engineered it, and was manufacturing and selling them as if they were a distributor of ours. This isn't some out of the ordinary event, it's a well known common practice of Chinese engineering. Here's an article with Russians talking about it as well - again this is well known in the engineering world - Chinese are masters of reverse engineering, but aren't developing new technologies on par with the rest of the developed world.

Edit - I should add of course all world superpowers are spying on each other. But stealing IP is a fundamental part of the Chinese engineering and technology sector, to a degree that is completely unparalleled in the rest of the world. If you don't know this, you're simply ignorant on the topic.

"At issue is America's most advanced nuclear warhead, the W-88. Scientists at Los Alamos worked for years to miniaturize the atomic device, allowing a single Trident missile to carry up to eight 500-kiloton warheads. Smaller warheads are a huge improvement over the old three- or four-megaton behemoths because they are light enough to launch from close-in submarines and they can target multiple sites with a single launch."

"Military planners were confident that the painstaking research at Los Alamos had given America a strategic advantage that would take the Chinese at least 10 years to match."

"They were in for a shock. In 1995, a top-secret document intercepted by the CIA revealed that the Chinese already possessed the miniaturized technology. According to one intelligence official, with just 44 tests the Chinese had acquired a weapon that American scientists had struggled with over the course of some 1,000 tests."

"Given the clear breach of national security, counterintelligence officials turned their attention to the Los Alamos labs. Suspicion fell on Wen Ho Lee, a Taiwanese-born computer scientist who had been working on the nuclear weapons program since 1979. In April of 1996, Notra Trulock, the head of intelligence for the Department of Energy, briefed National Security Adviser Sandy Berger on the apparent spy situation at Los Alamos. Mr. Berger, in turn, briefed the president."

"Such suspicions will not quickly be allayed. The spy scandal has given new urgency to the long-held belief that Attorney General Janet Reno was covering for the president when she refused to appoint an independent counsel to investigate the Peoples Liberation Army donations and other campaign-finance abuses. To bypass the intractable attorney general, Mr. McCain called for a blue-ribbon panel, similar to the one that investigated the Iran-Contra arms deal, to look further into charges of Chinese influence peddling and spying."

The sand people are to simple to understand all those gizmos and how to turn wrenches. This subtle brand of left wing racism is going to age well as extremist attacks become more deadly in the region and beyond thanks to this windfall.

Turbines, those things that power blackhawks and jets aren’t simple but what do you know. Also, you can’t just go down to a Napa and pick up parts. Use that thing you call a brain before posting.

They are wearing our equipment; armed with our rifles, and flying our Blackhawks!

"Believe" what you want.!

I believe all of this. But not the numbers that you are putting up. Also, why would they want to use our guns as it will be very difficult for them to get the ammo and the AK’s are much easier to maintain and the ammo is easier to get. As for the Blackhawks, if they continue flying them they will fall out of the sky because they will not be able to repair them nor will they be able to find parts if they are capable of doing.

The US doesn’t negotiate with terrorist groups. Also, all of the vehicles left behind were made inoperable per the Pentagon.

No shit, you think America doesn't spy on China and Russia too? All global superpowers spy on each other, especially in the context of military technology and most importantly nuclear weapons. American secret services were even found to be spying on allied heads of state to gain a geopolitical advantage but American media and intelligence didn't broadcast that on their propaganda channels because it doesn't fit the narrative they're trying to portray: "America are the good guys".
The guy you mentioned also they couldn't find any evidence that he was sharing secrets with China and he was charged with "improper handling of restricted information", so even that incident you posted isn't reliably true. What is true however is that all global superpowers have their own scientists to develop extremely advanced weaponry. They also all spy on one another to keep one another from getting too far ahead.

Don't forget that China will get its hands on much of that equipment and tech. Not only will they study what the US but they will be able to produce updated knock offs

Too late

It's weird how they're all acting like Biden personally lost the war for them, like they ever had any part in it or ever really gave a fuck.

Just imagine if all these disgraced individuals volunteered for service or even just advocated for refugee programs or did literally anything to support the war effort where we might be after 20 years of their daily effort.

I am writing my Congressman to push for accepting refugees in a country we destroyed. It is the moral thing

Also I know if this happened under Trump the cult would call it a success because "muh he had the balls to just leave in a hurry" or some spin
