Gilpin doesn't seem like a world beater, but he is almost certainly better than Coughran. TUF 27 cast had quite a few low tier guys on the roster...the fact that Coughran was an alternate likely says something about his lack of potential. Also Coughran is 0-1-1 as a boxer. He was KO'd by a guy who is otherwise 0-3. Granted boxing isn't the same as MMA, but his striking looks pretty ugly and he can't have a good chin if he was KO'd by some scrubbo boxer: http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/809915 Gilpin's wins seems to have a bit more adversity than you would hope from a -2xx fave, but I think there should be a bit more juice on his side.
