EU passes law requiring all devices to charge with USB-C; Apple will have to ditch lightning ports

It is what this is yeah.

While from my experience if person isn't dumb.....
And marking on charger is clean and enough large.....

I had been taught in 1st grade el school that ( and why ) 19>15....
Ofc 1,5< 2 and 1,9<2 later when I was 3 rd grade el school 9 y.o kid....

We had been taught that 15<19 in kinder garden.
6 y.o.

To be fair, clean and still attached markings are frequently an issue on construction and mining sites in central Australia.
Although I've had the same issue with urban clients.
Things are better these days, as most workers have now grown up using computers and other electronics.
Still, regardless of how "ruggedised" the gear, you want to leave as little room for user error as possible.
That applies to everything from simplifying power connectors, to stopping them from streaming HD porn on remote satellite internet connections that are just a tad more expensive than their usual home or mobile data plans.

I use mobile network at home cos to get cable is....huge idiotism with papers....and contract + all this cost a lot of $. It isn't for me just xxx bucks even initially.
While if about technical stuff I had worked for Master implementing old school german traditions as stonesmith....it is even stuff where you are processing large single natural granite piece till perfection....
Later I had ed like for westerners it might be associate degree in nanotech & biotech.
After this ...I'm not happy with my life ofc....to sell construction materials..

First programming language I had used IRL was one from ASMs...just cos I had decided to lurk why this does work.....and It wasn't even C.... C if compare with this is high level language. Abstraction level...

Ofc for me chargers might look easy to understand about nuances....

Apple will still find a way for their new cables to completely fall apart in 6 months. Planned obsolescence is a big part of their business model.

...LOL fun to visit but you can keep the EU as a place to live.

Not throwing shade here, nothing but love for Australia, but isn't half your country on fire most of the year?

That's ridiculous, it's only half the year. November to April.

No. It's currently raining a lot so that's pretty unlikely.

We had massive bushfires back in 2019 I think it was, that got a lot of coverage but huge fires like that have only happened a couple of times in my whole life.

Thanks to La Niña you guys are getting historic rainfall, but it's my understanding that your bushfire season has grown by a month over the last forty years and climate change is likely to blame.

LOL no. If you read accounts from back in the 18th century when whites first arrived, they described Australia "as a land of fire and floods". Nothing has changed.

The reason for those massive fires was a build up of old dead grass and trees etc since the last major bushfire in about 2003... oh and assholes who were intentionally starting fires.

The fire service usually does controlled back burns around populated areas to avoid towns being burned out like that but the greenies were taking them to court to block them... idiots.
