Are you aware that arbitrators use nebulous discretion when monetary stakes are high for the UFC? We can't possibly take these hearings at face value without considering the conflict of interest.

Jones is possibly the greatest fighter we've seen to date, and you're obviously a giant fan, so let's not even discuss him for now.

How about Nate Diaz getting exonerated in 24-48 hours while people like Nail Magny get shafted? There are discrepancies in their arbitration so very little faith can be placed there, imo.

It's a fact that Nate Diaz was given clearance ON 24 HOUR NOTICE because the noble efforts of Neil Magny and several others who paid heftier sentences laid the groundwork for such an expedited judgement? That's an opinion. I happen to think jeopardizing the BMF main event on an otherwise weak card at MSG may have influenced the efficiency of the process. We will see when Joe Schmo is flagged on the very first fight of a prelim if he is cleared as expeditiously.

here's what magny had to say more than a month before we heard anything about diaz, when he was cleared:

"During this time, a team of people have forced USADA to review their policies, and I hope you (family, friends, fans and fighters) will see real, positive changes in the quality of USADA’s rules and by-laws. Nonetheless, during these last few months I continued to fully cooperate with USADA and submit to their required regular testing."

i don't know what 24 hour notice you're talking about. diaz sample came back oct 17, a week before diaz went public, and more than 2 weeks before the event.

the policy changes had been in the works for a while. that's a fact. magny's suspension was lifted well before anyone knew diaz was going to flag. they literally had a public summit on the topic 2 days before diaz results were known.

It’s like he’s unintentionally become a parody of himself. Found a niche regurgitating obscure/irrelevant “facts” that no one in their right mind cares to check for accuracy. When called into question simply reposition the goal posts and lead the conversation in a different direction.

I used to give the Andy gifs as replies to the sad “greasing” posts. But there was always an excuse or justification or “it wasn’t a lot” or “just from his face” response. Self applying grease to yourself (in multiple fights) will always be more damning than a one time unintentional transfer by an inexperienced cornerman.
