when you are running your campaign based on telling everybody that you're not very smart, and youve got issues in your head and brain from all of your concussions, you are clearly trying to pander to very stupid people, and believe that theres enough stupid people that will vote for you simply because they are stupid too and can relate to you. thats a bold strategy cotton. lets see if it pays off.
there is only 100 positions for that lucrative job in the whole country. he should be trying to make a case for why he's smart and qualified to have the privilege of having that job and why he is better fit than all of the rest, instead of trying to tell everybody just how stupid he is and how much issues he's got going on in the head.
i wouldnt want someone like that being my representative. to hell with that noise. but you don't have to be smart to get into political positions. you just need to run in a district full of stupid and ignorant people. take lauren boebert and MTG for instance. if having brains was a requirement for anything, the only political positions they would ever have is scrubbing down congressmens toilets
"vote for me because i'm stupid as shit and my brain has been turned into hamberder!" - not sure if i can recall anybody ever campaigning on that and actually winning.
