A coup is an unlawful seizure of power, which is exactly what Trump, et al tried to do leading up to Jan 6th. Stop being obtuse.

Yeah there's that. Aside from the fact that none of those things should be banned, but the biggest problem is it's so imprecise. High capacity magazine could mean my double barrel 12GA

How short is your memory? Trump was the one pushing for the debate. It was supposed to be in Michigan with a moderator who was literally a former intern for Joe Biden, then Michigan canceled because they were scared of a cough so they had to move it to Miami. Trump said all good let's have the debate in Miami, so they wanted to switch it to a zoom meeting where they could mute him at any time and editorialize. Then the Biden intern moderator tried to send a DM for advice on how to handle Trump but accidentally sent it as a tweet, then pretended he was hacked, then got suspended from his network after he got publicly busted for lying about being hacked.

He wants "assault" weapons and "high capacity" magazines to be NFA with no grandfather clause. First off, NFA items aren't legal to own in every state. Secondly, each NFA item you possess requires a $200 tax stamp from the ATF. That Glock 19 you bought that comes with 3 15 round mags? You either pay the ATF $600 ($200 each) or turn them in to law enforcement. "Or else."
And of course every single state that currently has some sort of AWB has exemptions for law enforcement.

All that doesn't change the fact that when it got to the end of the rope, Biden was still willing and Trump openly stated he was out and wasn't going to do it anymore. If he was as Big Balls as he claims to be he wouldn't have backed out at the end because of his "reasons" to back out.
 
Who was the young Latina in the white dress who said something to POTUS about "knew I was in your line of sight" to which he responded "Well you got some eyes, kid!" before turning to try and walk again?

I don't consider it an inappropriate comment per se but just struck me as very forward.
 
I also have to say... yeah inflation is down to a little over 3% but that is a rate. It sounds nice but it does nothing for how crazy it's been. The rate may have come down but eggs are still horribly overpriced. The cost to live has gone up tremendously and wage increases haven't even put a dent in that.

I don't think he should have bragged about the rate of increase finally slowing. He should talk more about what he is going to do to address the fact that the middle class is getting pinched hard.

Also stop blowing Israel so much. I mean it's fine just tame it down a little.

But none of that takes away from the fact that he did really well in terms of presentation. He made Republicans look very bad
