I think both the Army and Marines don't authorize their members to wear combat patches from another service.Not authorized by the Army.
Stupid in my opinion. If you fought with that unit, you should be allowed to wear it.
No colored patches on the U.S. Army camouflage uniform. A few Army units don't follow that.
The 1st Infantry Division boys (and girls) being the primary violators of that regulation. To include Company and Field Grade Officers.
* I really don't care about unit or combat patches, school patches, or tabs. I don't care about rank. Is he a good soldier or effective leader? Is he competent? Can he motivate and lead soldiers. That has to be proven everyday of service. A school is just a school. What happens afterwards is what really matters. Folks with combat patches are a rare breed these days. Most have left the service.
