This is the problem. Telling your kids “don’t take crap from anybody” is how we end up with a bunch of dumbshits who start fights at the bar. It’s a stupid philosophy imparted upon kids because their parents were too weak to stand up for themselves when it counted. So they’re hoping their kids will just be bullies and be the toughest big fish in their small pond and they can vicariously live through them.
Taking shit from people is part of living.
