Ezzard Charles, who weighed the same and sometimes more than Marciano, lost to him twice, was bettered by walcott twice, and lost many other fights...... is better pound for pound than a man the same size who went undefeated all at a higher weightclass?

Well, there's a lot more to the career of Ezzard Charles than his fights at heavyweight. Lots of people think he was the greatest light heavyweight of all-time, after all.

Well, we lived through Floyd's career, it was micro managed to fight people at the right time for him. He did fight them all in the end. Smart I guess.
Rocky's competition is often scoffed at, poor or ancient. Floyd beat his record vs McG anyway
