Also, my blood pressure this morning was 153/105, and my resting pulse 82.
18 months ago my bp was 120/80, and resting pulse 48.

I thought you had a power lifting coach?I feel like my workout partner and I are kind of the blind leading the blind.
I thought you had a power lifting coach?
Ha ha ha. I thought you set a bunch of PRs recently and that she was part of the reason. Maybe it was a placebo effect, and now that she has been exposed as a charlatan her presence isn't going to help.So needless to say I have demoted her to "workout partner."

That dirt looks like clay, I think your back work out for today will take care of itself.
I did set my bench PR with her coaching, so I can't complain too much, but the fact that my form isn't technically legal irks me. It seems like that would be an obvious thing to catch and correct in training, no? That's a red flag.
I think on DL we started getting into all of this tinkering with the form and trying to correct some things, and slowly my numbers have started dropping off. The dead lift sessions are low energy and almost tedious. There's not much intensity to them. I know technique and form are golden, but sometimes I feel like I should stop the tinkering and just pull the damn weight with some emphasis.
So... I'm appreciative but wary at this point.
If someone is planning on competing, making sure that their technique is will pass in competition, and drilling that technique into them, is an extremely basic part of coaching, and probably the easiest. If a "coach" can't do that, they have no business coaching powerlifters.
We all have vices, mine is asian midget porn.
Rob, get your ass to Flagstaff and let's do some JUDO!!!!! Or just do a little training in elevation.
