How much did you really look into Roehrick for this one? Earlier in the thread, you were saying he wouldn't be in shape. As you found out, he should be as he was actually training for a fight. Also, you are claiming he's not going to be in shape because he was a "fat heavyweight". You realize he wrestled as a "fat heavyweight" throughout college. I'm pretty sure he was taking it seriously and in shape then.

I don't know how you can overlook that he's a big wrestler going against a guy who has training to face a brawler in Bosse. That's a huge red flag to stay away from an expensive price.

agreed Roehrick D1 wrestler looks almost a weight class bigger and going against a guy hwo has shown poor tdd.. fight screams dog or pass imo

Have you watched his actual fights? When you do tell me how impressed you were with his takedowns, and how he got those takedowns. And how impressed you were with his striking, and striking defense.

Lots of people on sherdog don't even watch past fights smh, just see he is a D1 wrestler and then say he can give Cannon trouble.

Wait, so you think he will give Cannon trouble?
I think betting the fight in general is dumb as fuck and it's comical watching people make a case for either side. Like, come the fuck on guys. There is not even close to enough known about Roehrick other than being a D1 wrestler sounds like potential problems for Cannon. Keyword being SOUNDS cause there is very little footage, you can't find his recent fight that goes the distance, and what's available is all against complete bums

haha smh, I was able to just watch 4 of his past fights. Man is not impressive at all, and only won a split decision in his second to last fight against a 9-6 opponent. That 9-6 opponent recently had a win against a 5-9 opponent.

This is Cannon, who just fought #2 ranked Glover at the time, had Glover rocked at the end of the 1st and actually showed good sub defense on the ground, didn't get ground and pounded and held him own being on his back. He is now training full time, quit his job.

I think sherdog is getting worse and worse man smh, no wonder I don't come here as often anymore.

I realize that Gray Maynard is absolutely awful these days, but I can't ignore the fact that Ishihara just got dominated by Artem Lobov.

Would anyone be surprised if Gray "bullied" this kid around the cage for 3 rounds?

Lol, I actually hope Roehrick wins just to shut the elitist "OMG you guys don't understand, no wonder I'm so great and you guys suck" guys up.

Heap of ignorant idiots talking like Steele was a lock, lol. I won money on that and fuck the money here, I just hope he wins to show how stupid some people sound.

I was at first, but after seeing Ish looking great at the weigh ins, added 10 pounds of muscle and was stuffing Guida's take downs in a video I am not worried anymore.

Yes. I think Gray is just done. He had the most favorable matchup he could possibly have against Bruno, and he still looked horrible.

"I think sherdog is getting worse and worse man smh, no wonder I don't come here as often anymore."

Well then don't come here and post if other peoples opinions on fights bothers you so much.

So Sherdog is getting worse because people think Roehrick has a chance of winning and like the odds? Shut up.

Also not once did I claim to know it all, I have said since the start that Cannonier is rightful favourite but Roehrick has the tools to win, simple as that.

Bro, Cannon can finish this fight.

if it stays standing for the majority of the fight, yes. if it gets to the ground there is a good chance that cannon is not getting back up.

and there could be made a case that jared is a front runner, no stoppages after the first seven minutes

MJ by KO at +170 isn't too bad, especially in comparison to his ITD line. I think this ends by KO one way or another most of the time and I think MJ may be able to make Justin pay for his lack of defense. Hitting it smallish.

lol @ betting bec rawlings or steele
You're a grown man with kids who is so butt hurt over an Internet forum comment you resort to pointing out bets that have lost. Very sad, grow up dude #yourafather #immature

ya i have watched them.. i think his td's look pretty good and he is a strong dude if he gets a hold of Cannon i think he is going for a ride.. his striking is terrible but it wont matter if he can get the td's

Ok, it could happen, but I see it playing out on the feet with Jared clipping him. But if that is your view why did you go Cannon dec? Cannon by Tko is more likely, and Nick by dec is likely if he wins. That would have been the way to go imo, if you wanted to hedge.

What? He won a decision against Cutelaba who won r1. R3 was Cannons best round

Well I guess that is were we disagree. I was not impressed with his take downs. I saw he got one by catching a kick, another one by his oppoent trying for a takedown and him swtiching it up against the fence.

The fact that Cannon has quit his day job and training full time MMA since May means we should also see a improved Cannon, and I was already impressed with his performance and ability to hold his own on his back against Glover.
