Can a woman DB bench 67 lbs each arms for reps without steroids?

Mya-Lynn-Lesnar.jpg

Probably she could do it.

Some girls are just born strong. Steroids or not, do you think you could ever outsnatch this girl?

Hint: never in a million years, and not with all the roids in the world. The record snatch for MEN in the Crossfit games is only 315 lbs, by Matthew Fraser.

And Crossfit has way laxer drug testing than the Olympics.

Why does it matter to you if they're on steroid or not? Seems like you just wanna ogle their lat spread so what difference does it make?

A lifetime of training that motion is what it would have taken. It's not something I could have just picked up and got to that level. I could have got really strong at something like that because I cam gain weight easily, but I understand how amazing she is. Crossfit dude is thin and ripped.

Right in front of me as I type this I have a smaller bar with a 45, 2 10's, and a 5 on each side. I do 12 reps of stand-up shoulder press behind my head like it's easy, and I rarely do it. If at 41 I can do 175 like that with minimal training...

If I trained if for the same amount of time as her, then yes I could have. I have strong legs and shoulders and I can basically just keep growing.

I mean, if I focused on it starting as an overweight 5th grader, I probably could have made it to the Olympics as a man, because I had the available testosterone.

If I started now at 40 I could never get as good as he at that particular exercise.

I'm interested in what she can bench in DBs, to be honest.
lol, no. You wouldn't come close.

She outsnatches this dude-

And he does this for a living.

Shoulder pressing 315 is a LOT easier than snatching it.

Go ahead, try to overhead press 135 and then try to snatch it.

Uh oh, this move to the S&C forum. Good luck to some of you, lol....

The few people I know that have done the movement have stressed how important technique is. I don't snatch dude, so wtevr. That guy probably started at 25.

Can we talk about roids? Like the exact cycle I need to get on to bench these dumbbells

My point is that even if you did, and from an early age, you would not outsnatch her because you have average genetics. Which goes back to my original reply that some people are just born stronger than others. You're not one of those people.

I read somewhere that your dumbbell max is only 70% of your barbell max. I didn't know how true that was but your numbers seem to match that.
That sounds about right although the ratio I use is use is 80 percent. Not all lifts are created equal however and if you don't barbell press at all it would probably be a bit closer during the first few weeks of training with the barbell.

I haven't barbell bench pressed in almost two years as I just prefer dumbbell pressing. I know if I tried barbell pressing it would take a few lifting sessions to get in the groove.

But juice is not necessarily to get cut if the goal is only strength and size
(it's the same girl)
LOL, I didn't realize it was the same chick. Either way, she doesn't seem out of the realm of being natty. She is probably right at her max genetic potential for sure.

I follow her on instagram, she once said that would like to get gain ten more lbs but she doesn't knew if it's was even possible naturally to her beeing a woman (she is 160lb 5'7 tall)

You sound like a stain. Bench was my weakest motion, and I got up to 400, with more on decline. That's not benching right and starting at a gym for years that limited that muscle group for me. You don't know me you fkn moron lol.. I barely work out and do 80 push-ups with a weight vest at 41. I used to do 28 easy style pull-ups, and 19-20 wide-grip, while weighing 240. Do you need the fantasy that a guy can't be as strong as a woman? I have the same genes as THE MEN that get into the Olympics for this. Broad-shouldered, ability to gain weight, and literally up until the last year, the ability to get stronger and stronger as long as I lifted heavy. You are saying she's stronger than any man, and you pretending you know me or my prime physical capabilities is weird.

The cross-fit dude is a roided 180lber. I could have easily weighed 300 lbs at 6'. You have no idea what you are talking about, and sound strange.

Wasnt there some 15 year old black girl that was built like a refrigerstor benching 350 a couple years ago?

No, I am saying she is stronger than the AVERAGE man. I am also saying you will never snatch 3 plates, nor have ever had the capability of doing so. She is nowhere near as strong as male IWF weightlifters, but then again, neither are you.

For the record, I have overhead pressed 315 but can't come anywhere close to that snatching. But then again, I'm just an average man.

What’s the point of arguing what a 41 year old man could have lifted? You can’t say with certainty that he never could have snatched 3 plates if he trained that lift. So why even say anything?

Judging by his sig, it looks like these two will find any excuse to have teenage girl arguments with each other
