Official Nioh 2 Disc: PC & PS5 Collection launch 05 FEB 21!

Oh I meant his charge attack. He has two of them, one he does only in the Yokai realm where he’s crawling across the floor spreading fire behind him and if you’re caught in it that’s basically it.

He has another where he runs from one end of the room to the other, bouncing off the walls.
Ok yeah now I remember. The dark realm charge was way worse. His spinning attack where he throws his hatchets got me too. I couldn't figure out the spacing and timing to get inside. Cool boss design though.

Can't you just buy the materials or do you have to farm them? I thought that might be a good excuse to keep playing.
You gotta pray for a high level drop and soul match your gear to it till you hit level 200 +120. Rn I'm 190+111.

Beat the third boss last night on my first attempt. He was absolute breeze in comparison to the first two. Also, I fucking HATE the snake women enemies and I still don't have a solid strategy to kill them. I generally shoot at them from a distance but it isn't always possible. The one legged hopping cunts can get fucked, too.

There's levels beyond max level called focus levels. 3 billion amrita each and they are life, ki, attack, and luck. They're miniscule improvements but it's an amrita dump for if you keep playing.

Focus points remind me of Warframe, ha. Never heard of it here; by definition pretty VIP, obviously. Reaching SL cap is straight-up hardline. Again, respect, samuraishot138.

Made a switch back to the axe and it’s upped the game’s fun factor quite a bit. The stagger is just ridiculous and even in high stance I can get off quick combos.

What does everyone else mostly play with?

I've been using the Bloodspider blade pretty much exclusively. High stance. It wrecks, so far, but I'm probably handicapping myself in some fights.

Great reach, though.

I started with kusa but switched to splitstaff and fists once the DLC hit.

To say the difficulty spike is stiff is an understatement. Still, coolest content of the game as well.
Good, I haven’t been pushed much at all since Shibata. Been rolling through pretty much everything. Think I’m on the final mission now.

Can't stop the Dizzy Express. Side missions too though? Don't skip those, buddy; lots of goodies nestling about from best-in-class Spirits to items and everything in between.

The cat boss was pretty easy. I've moved on to the next area, did the sub missions, and I'm eager to find out who I'm going to get wrecked by next. Made it to the second shrine before quitting for the evening. I'm enjoying the contrast in the level aesthetics. Going from a green forest to a snowy mountain lair is pretty cool.
