Takeru vs Pettas was fireworks! Tenshin was ringside. Back and forth fight Takeru won by TKO. That fight needs to happen

no doubts to Takeru's number 1 p4p claims now. he just blew away an elite elite challenger. Leona showing the guts and steel to get up from that first knockdown was incredible.


although, I didn't like the reffing. Takeru very arguably got dropped to a knee and then was allowed to score 2 free clean punches as Leona was getting up from a slip while the ref was stepping in. these weren't legal shots, but the ref gave Leona no time to recover.

Wow, Takeru should have been counted there. I don't think he has ever been downed.

It was a crazy sequence, ref got a bit overwhelmed. Takeru got counted against Bongiovanni but he was a bit unbalanced when the blow landed.

Night 2 was fucking incredible. Shinohara/Saikyo was probably the only shit fight of the night but every other fight was full of action, knockdowns, and finishes.

Special mention to that dancedown between Kido and Matsushita while the ref is basically giving instructions to no one.

Also, how does Karimian keep winning!? His technique looked almost passable in the 2nd round but good god, he has the footwork of a mummy.

Just not anyone good near his size in K1 atm. He was almost KOd and knock downed twice in 1st round.

After watching the slo-mo it looks to me like Takeru went down to his knee when he missed with a left and lost his balance. When Pettas goes down he gets up and immediately throws a left at Takeru who reacts with the 2 punches. The action was so fast paced it was hard for the ref to get in there. What a fight though.
