The rioters on 1/6 were part of a political movement and part of the GOP essentially. The rioting last summer was mostly pissed off citizens and criminal/out of control mobs. How many of the looters actually vote let alone are active members of a political party?

These situations are not equivalent.

In defense to the rioting last summer, if my son was shot and killed while jogging, if a cop kneed on his neck for ten minutes and killed him or if my daughter was shot and killed by cops while she was in bed - I'd burn the fucking town down too.

And what would you do if your son or daughter was killed by protesters? Burn them all?

He wouldn't be being prosecuted if there was no evidence. That's not how prosecutions work. I'm fine with whatever the result is.

I'm sure he'll have fun in court explaining why he was running around at night with a rifle in an area he didn't live in playing vigilante warrior.
