People aren’t whining about just the helicopters, they’re complaining about everything from small arms on up. The Taliban riding around in MRAPs isn’t worth dumping millions of dollars worth of bombs (and probably scores of civilian casualties) for us just to save face. The reality is that this is just about America's bruised ego, there is no game changing tactical advantage the Taliban have gained from that equipment. They already won.
