Do poor people have Kinkos in this "Canada" place, because that seems to be a major hangup for the poors in the US?
Lol. I was sure the "she-session and she-covery" were a voice over like a joke from the beaverton.Oh fuck, most Canadians live to tell other people how to live. Ontarip is the province of boring rules. If Trudeau gets in he's going to ban protesting at hospitals and make it a criminal offense cause there were a couple of recent protests and it's an election.
We have become such a country of pussies it's embarrassing and it is almost all Trudeau's fault. I mean he literally said he prefers the term "peoplekind" in place of the misogynistic "mankind" word. He also recently referred to the pandemic recession as "she-session" and we need a "she-covery" as we know women were the hardest hit by the pandemic. I'm dead serious too. City people in Canada eat this shit up.
NDP is way further left than center bud.Center Left - Liberal Party
Center Left - NDP
Center Right - Conservatives
. Be a Canadian citizen.
2. Prove my identity.
3. Prove my address.
Inexcusable if true. It's never been that requiring ID was a problem, it's when Republicans mandate it then throw up obstacles to obtaining it.
Think this is a case of very badWhy do you think voter ID laws exist?
That must be addressed as well. No excuse for undermining anyone's opportunity to cast a ballot. More than one problem can be worked on at once.I'm not as prepared as you to ignore the fact the GOP resisted numerous attempts at voting security legislation and are fixated on this one that specifically hits the black community the hardest.
Just like the prohibition on voting specifically during a time period that has been incredibly popular with the black community for decades. For reasons?
It's absolutely true. They do things like mandate ID, then drastically cut down on DMV hours of operation or shut them down all together in very specific areas where the people they don't want voting live. They also restrict what forms of ID are acceptable; like a gun permit is fine, but not a student ID.Inexcusable if true.
I think the democratic process should be as bullet proof and transparent as possible. Anyone interfering with it should be launched into the sun. That's where I'm coming from when it comes to this conversation.
Don't think for a minute I'm ok with any such tactics. You have to try to set people up for success if you want to prosper as a group. That not only applies in a business environment but society as a whole. That includes availing them of the tools neccessary to make the right moves. It's absolutely true. I'm serious when I say the democratic process must be held sacred. India can get this right but not the US? And regardless of what anyone says, providing ID is a foundational neccesity to a healthy voting process and hindering an eligible voters ability to get that ID should carry a hefty penalty. Last time I checked India issues identification to everyone. Ain't that something?

Maybe Americas the problemLol, everything in America is a fucking problem.
What a load of disingenuous bullshit lol. That must be addressed as well. No excuse for undermining anyone's opportunity to cast a ballot. More than one problem can be worked on at once.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court gutted an important part of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, allowing states to go back to discriminating against minorities.
Being a student doesn't mean they're a citizen or someone with voting rights. It's absolutely true. Something to do with Donald Trump, No doubt. What the hell is tanal sex?
I've done enough reading on the subject to realize you're not making any of this up. Even if that wasn't the case I have enough respect for you not to think you'd do such a thing.I'm Canadian, like you. I can't actually imagine voting without presenting identification.
I'm just objecting to the overwhelming number of attacks the GOP is putting on the institution and how transparent their motives are. Do you think I'm imagining or exaggerating these attacks?
What a load of disingenuous bullshit lol.
When someone (you) is advocating for "solving" problems that don't exist ... the bullshit meter goes wild!
Concession cemented.
