Look at that height and reach advantage for Mike. Imagine Jackson running circles and outpointing him? Put me in prison please. +500 is wide as FUCK. Someone talk me out of it.

He couldn't finish CM Punk.

A lot of ppl who are on Swanson , I gotta side with the young hungry lion over the old vet . I know Swanson is a gd fighter, but Jon can't lose this fight in this stage in his career. I think motivation matters. Cub has been there done that, makes his check no matter what , will have his place in the ufc, as long as he puts on an entertaining fight. I think Jon its make or break moment. this would set him back so far he cant climb the top 15 for two years. Im confident Jon was smart choice for parlay. I know ive made bad reads recently (BFL) but im sure this card will redeem me as a capper, i see Jon and taira as solid bets, Henry, and Dusko i think bring home the W.

Agreed. I remember I was about to live bet him, I think he would have won the fight. He was taking over as he had survived the worst of Barry and cardio was setting in.
Really?I don't know man, seemed to me Jackson was competitive the first two minutes,Barry threw singles strikes mostly, then Barry started to throw more and got Jackson backed to the fence and started to hit him more.
And Barry is bad too.Who knows how Jackson trains and he ain't getting younger,I believe he gets run through tonight.

Initially I liked Martinez but if he can’t finish cub it’s going to be a close fight. Value is on cub

love betting on guys like cj at big plus odds.
Taira essentially has to finish to earn that price tag. No value imo

He did say he purposely played with him. Wanted the fight to last longer, may have had bet himself to a decision.

Possible. But dude isn't when really a fighter either. Photographer who dabbled in boxing and takes an MMA fight once every 4 years or so.

Damnit I always get Mike Jackson confused with Montel Jackson.

Haha Montel is a bantamweight and I might still give him a better chance of beating Rodriguez than Mike Jackson has.

I know, right? Every time I see Montel fight, I think, "This guy isn't THAT bad and pretty solid for a part-time photographer."

He's pretty good. I know one of the guys who owns Pure Vida (Zac Ottow is the other owner). Been a long time since I talked to him but I remember he was always high on Montel.

I mean, I think Taira by finish is pretty likely here. He got pretty close to finishing Candelario, even dropped him, only reason he couldn't is that Carlos is pretty savvy on the mat. Don't think Vergara would survive being on the mat with someone like Candido or Taira.

Fighters say this all the time and I never believe them. Although maybe he speaks the truth this time. Punk was dead when that second round began but mostly due to having no cardio left.

I'm not sure how you think he's likely to finish but you can still get +210 on sub and +800 on TKO. I'm pretty happy to have by sub at +300 since I think that's the most likely result. I wouldn't touch the moneyline though.

You can still get his sub for +350 at betregal.ca as well.

R2 to start in Jackson vs Rod +165

get the fuck outta here. I'm taking that. Big height and reach for Mike and Mike is better than the competition Rodriguez has beaten so far

tbh I think Cub is clearly very motivated, no reason for him to drop to 135 if he's not.

Seriously. Jackson wasn't looking that bad against Barry.

Jackson rolled against most punches for the first 3 minutes. Until he was stuck against the cage, Jackson only got hit with 2 clean punches to the face, 1 chest punch, and a couple of punches to the back of his shoulder. Once he was stuck against the cage, he got hurt by Barry.

Jackson is chinny, but his movement and rolling with the punches is what saves him a lot and makes people forget how chinny he is. As long as he doesn't get pushed into the fence, he should be able to at least get out of Round 1.
