Shaub was right.. he said after the slap incident the UFC will pump out big fights/news to take away from the incident. We got Jones coming back, Izzy vs Perreira 2, and now this amongst others.

Did we know Izzy would return so quickly? No we didn’t.. Conor has been inactive AF and Jones has taken 10 years to move up, now suddenly their fights are announced.. very fishy

Connors not top 15 and Chandler has 5 lightweights ranked ahead of him. This is just a fun fight and probably the biggest TUF draw they could make.

If they're both on similar skids then it sounds appropriate that they fight each other, plus they're both fan favourites and it should be a fun build up and fight.

I'm shocked Conor has agreed to fight someone of Chandler's magnitude in a legitimate competition.

Style wise Chandler's probably the best fighter McGregor has a shot of beating what with Chandler not fighting smart since like 2017-2018 and him wanting to stand a lot more lately and the orthodox stance vs southpaw opening up more power hand shots.
