Honestly I'm certainly not against seeing how McGregor is gonna react against Chandler's aggression. Less methodical, and overall worse striker than Poirier, but I'm sure Chandler is gonna put a lot of pressure on him ; McGregor better be ready or he's gonna get mauled dirty.
Good move from the UFC, from a commercial POV. They are gonna milk McGregor for weeks with TUF and that fight, as opposed to him getting beat up once a year and people definitely losing interest in him.
It may be entertaining, and also a good way to make him actually focus on fighting for some time.

Interesting fight. I suspect Connor is done. But both will gas around the same time. Connor is evasive early on. So he may be able to avoid the tko early. Im not sure. Chandler should be favourite imo.

Conor is elite at ONE thing: marketing. Hes no KO artist. Sorry moderators, i have seen more than yous. Hes had a LOT or soft TKOs.

That said! I dont like chandler outside the cage. Hes a virtue signaler and a horrible fight seller, whereas conor is fantastic at it.

Fight for fight? Chandler is exciting in his fights just an bore on the mic. And as much as i dont think conor isnt that great, despite the praise, hes never boring in his fights.

I was a huge Conor McGregor supporter even just a few years ago. But he’s done. He’s absolutely washed. The money, the fame, it all just basically wrecked his career. Doesn’t matter because he made more money than any UFC fighter in history by 10,000 miles. It’s just sad for us fans that he fell off a cliff as a fighter.

Conor used to be an elite counter striker who would have likely countered Chandler’s aggression and laid him out but he’s pretty washed up now.
