It's a bit odd to hear most UFC champions talk about retirement as soon as they get they belt.

Well to be fair guys used to get title shots with 4 or 5 wins in a row on the regular.

Now people are winning 10 plus fights in a row to get a title fight.. some of them have to go on multiple runs and have 20 UFC fights before they ever get a title fight. By the time you do that your in the twilight of your career.

I do hope she beats Pena, but Pena is probably just gonna maul her with the grappling.

It'll be interesting to see how far her improvements actually help her if she's able to get through Pena and hold the belt for awhile. Amanda really had the division under her thumb and I think the belt will be the hot potato for awhile but more power to Raquel if she's able to keep it around until her retirement.
