Ah not this again lol. Khabib is way behind even DJ "who Dana would never even dare mention". Jones probably actually is the GOAT but if somebody he didn't like had like 300 title defenses before leaving the UFC, Dana would pretend like they don't exist and slander them anytime their name is brought up.

If anybody at 125 gets a couple defenses that will be the 125lb GOAT to Dana.

Khabib is barely top 10, behind Aldo, DJ, probably Adesanya and it may sound crazy but even Poatan will be ahead of him if he get's atleast 2 title defences (belts in 2 divisions, beating 4 MMA champions in their prime, maybe Jan slightly past it but close enough, all this in his first 11 fights).

It's so hard to know exactly how to judge where he should be at. Yes 29-0 is impressive but as we know the first 16 fights pre UFC were tomato cans and many fighters have undefeated records when signing with the promotion.

In my eyes he's tied with Holloway since they both won 13 in a row in the UFC and had 3 title defenses (Max's streak at 145 was actually 14). On the one hand somebody could give the edge to Khabib for being undefeated but on the other hand Max beat better competition imo and became champ by beating the featherweight GOAT.

jones is the best fighter we’re ever going to see in our lifetimes. watch his old fights during his first title reign (his prime). when he was focus and hungry, he could not be stopped. nobody comes close. especially not khabib.
