The Fertitas still making money off MMA via their casinos and people dumb enough to listen to Gianni. Maybe they pay Gianni' s salary as an unorthodox sponorship deal.
There's no incentive for him to even make bad picks. He just needs to encourage betting. Sportsbooks have the math in their favor no matter who wins.
Him being bad at betting may ironically still encourage betting from people who think "wow this guy sucks, I bet I can do well if I'm smarter than this guy"

So, is this guy some sort of sports bettor that doesnt know SHIT about MMA? I mean, i had no idea who this weeks DWCS fighters were and still got 3/5 picks right, one perfect (1st round sub) and another by KO (missed the round).

He doesn't know anything about any of the fighters. Just looks at line averages vs performance, strength of competition (without context), age and things like that and makes blind picks.

Someone with a voice like his shouldn't be talking on TV. His voice sounds like someone scratching a nail on a black board.

He's uses some betting strategies that work in other sports, but don't work in MMA. He hasn't learned yet.

We're already on week 8 so I might go back and do earlier weeks if there's interest. Thought it would be fun to keep track of how badly Gianni is doing. Since he doesn't show his bet slips, for simplicity's sake let's assume he bets $100 on underdogs and to win $100 on favorites. Someone correct me if my math is off.

First Bet: +296 parlay on Brandon Lewis to win, Malik Lewis to win, and Farid Basharat vs. Allan Begosso not going the distance
Did It Hit? Lol no. All 3 legs failed.
Gianni loses $100.

Second bet: -150 on Brandon Lewis to win
Did It Hit? Lol no. Brandon Lewis almost suffered a leg kick TKO and lost a lopsided decision.
Gianni loses $150.

Did It Hit? Lol no. Marnic Mann suffered the greatest head kick knockout in DWCS WMMA history.
Gianni loses $100.

Did It Hit? Lol no. Lewis was grounded and pounded out in round two.
Gianni loses $180.

Did It Hit? Lol no. Aliskerov kimura'd Sousa in just over 2 minutes.
Gianni loses $125.

Sixth bet: -230 on Farid Basharat to win
Did It Hit? Somehow yes.
Gianni wins $100.

Seventh bet: +120 on Farid Basharat to win inside the distance
Did It Hit? Lol no. Basharat won a dominant decision.
Gianni loses $100.

1/7 bets hit
Total staked: $1085

Gianni loses $755.

No I don't pay for anyone's betting picks. Not familiar with wagertalk but looking at their website it seems he's still there.

Another tweet, this time from last weeks DWCS.

Very happy to have gotten onto a winner it appears.

Also LOL at the hashtag he used tonite: #FeatureBoutFire

Absolutely loving the fact he's 3 from the last 4 on the only ones that matter - the feature bouts.

GJ, Gia.
