I was talking about his opponent, Tyler King. He fought at HW mostly, but he's also made LHW for TUF. I believe this fight could be at LHW - any way to confirm?

got you.

I think this is Vinny Mag's WSOF debut; the Brilz fight was in Titan iirc. Also, if my memory serves me right, I think that was a close fight. I remember because I had a decent bet on Vinny (something I said I'd never do again after Perosh blasted him) and was worried going into the 4th; I had Brilz up 2-1.

oh, yea, i guess it was titan, lol. same thing!

and yea it was close, but brilz is better at this point than hamill

I don't know, I just don't feel overly comfortable backing Vinny, not since Perosh killed him. He talked so much shit in his last two UFC bouts and was made to look foolish. Then he semi-retired, came back to beat an undefeated Jorge Gonzales and Jason Brilz. But Jorge has lose 2 of his next 3 by submission, one to a fighter whose record was 0-1 and the other 3-2. Brilz was also getting the better of him until he got caught in the 4th.

Vinny talked a lot of shit he wasn't able to back up. Now he's coming off of a year layoff, a faux-retirement, making a debut in the 3rd or 4th largest company, there may be some pressure there. It seemed like his thoughts on this fight are a bit toned down, but I'm not sure if he went from being overly confident to not confident enough.

Vinny: I think it's really going to depend on my performance, how I perform in this fight. To be honest I'm in no rush to be fighting for the title right now, but if I perform well and get a win that deserves some attention then it's like, 'Why not fight for the title y'know?'"

He also said in an interview that he hasn't been preparing for a wrestler, or MH specifically.

I don't know, sorry for the rant, it's just the $ that dude cost me still stings. Not sure where Pezao's line is now, but I wouldn't take him over -1XX. I have a nasty feeling that either Pezao or Villante will kill a bunch of parlays.

no, i hear you. your concerns are well-founded. i haven't bet vinny (yet). but man, i think hamill is a fully bloomed fade plant at this point.

Jojo +380

Me thinks thats crazy

Me too - PVZ has some legit wins and JoJo struggles with dat forward pressure but I thought the lines would be closer. I said I'd bet JoJo +3XX, I like this line. I think it may even get better too. I'll make a small play on JoJo and maybe PVZ ITD. Super small - I'm actually really excited for this fight. The most I've been for a chick fight in some time.

don't understand what you mean at all. vinny's had fast fights in the ufc... but frankly, you should be more concerned with their post ufc action than their ufc action (at least in vinny's case). he's done quite well in M-1, had a good performance last fight in wsof vs brilz, didn't gas at all, was fresh in rd 4.

for the record i'm not saying o1.5 is a bad bet, tho

I mean stylistically. Vinnie cant get Hamill down and Hamill is tough so i cant see Vinnie winning with strikes. I see this being a boring kickboxing fight. However who knows if Perosh can blast Vinnie im sure Hamill could. Still i think its pretty likely the over hits.

People are grossly underestimating Brilz's ground game in comparison to Hamill's. Brilz is no joke grappling.

cs02132, thanks for explanation on teasers.

Sham,

I am nervous about betting him at this price, he is -305 now on 5d. I like him but that is pretty steep for any MMA bout... please convince me ! :) What do we know about his opponent?

Gian does come with risks i bet him against Maldonado and cried as he slowly gassed. He was dominating Lawlor and then wham lights out. His chin is normally very good tho cannot see Perosh troubling it. He is a big LHW with very good wrestling no way Perosh gets him down. His standup has improved a lot and its much better than Perosh's. He also hits very hard i cant see Perosh taking it. Perosh has been stopped six times and his last two losses are to very similar fighters to Gian. He is also 43 ffs. Gian's losses are to good strikers or big hitters Perosh is neither. I fully expected Gian to me more like -500. I bet on O'Connell to beat Perosh at dog odds and made a killing i couldnt believe it. For some reason the bookies give Perosh far too much respect. I expect a repeat of the O'Connell fight.

Pat Walsh fought that older Australian judo guy in the ufc right? I am from Boston so I know the type of guy pat Walsh is lol. Tbh I am not too high on anybody that fights out of MA, there isn't a lot of high level training around here. I used to train at the same gym as Tyler king. Based off physicality alone I think he should win. Same gym that Jesse mcelligott is from

Jesus . bibulatov now -1000.

Im wiki cappin him but from looking at his record I don't see anything that stands out, mostly local euro events

Not ewery ruski is the brother or cousin of khabib nurmagedov

A warning for 5Dimes users

I attempted to withdraw the full balance of my 5Dimes account just now. I had $32,534.89 in the account, with net profit of about $11,000 since the account was opened in May 2015. All my bets are on MMA. I never took any sign-up bonuses or "rewards".

When I tried to withdraw, I was told that a "2x rollover" was required and that I would only be allowed to withdraw a bit more than $19,000.

The simplest way to understand this is that any deposited money has to be bet twice before the money can be withdrawn. If the account is based in North America, the money has to be bet once.

Here's an example. To keep it simple, let's suppose you only bet underdogs. You open an account and fund it with $10,000. Then you must risk $20,000 before you are allowed to withdraw the $10,000. If you are based in North America, you must risk $10,000 before you are allowed to withdraw $10,000.

I can give more examples if you want. It works a bit differently if you bet favorites.

These rollover requirements are detailed in the rules, but I missed them when I signed up for 5Dimes. Everything here is above-board as far as I can tell, but the policy seems a bit silly and is very easy to miss.

I checked with Bookmaker and no such rollover restrictions apply if the user doesn't take bonuses.

This is interesing. Never noticed before. Seems like a way to snare the compulsive types so they can't get their money out before losing it again

Damn I've only had 2k in my account at once. I have 100 right now lol. 33k? Jeez. I feel like with 4k I could double that. It's enough to bet and still be ok if I lose

What is the most you guys would have in there? I'd be kind of worried to have that much in there, being that it's not 100% legal

Jesus . bibulatov now -1000.

I want to bet Frelow on principle, after quickly watching some clips on youtube he is explosive and throws some wild looping punches.

otoh bibulatov's highlight reel looks crazy as fuck. This kid is jumping of the cage throwing some insane wheel kick things. Def. expecting Bibulatov to get a ko but line does seem off.

PS. I have about 1k on 5d and the max I would have is 3k. However, it all depends what a lot of money is to you. After being a part of the poker community I have a bit of experience with having money trapped on websites etc. After the whole poker boom/bust cycle with Full Tilt holding a lot of players funds. I would not be surprised if this happened to 5d and other sportsbooks. The smart thing to do is use these sites for gaming, don't have more on there than you are willing to gamble with...in other words don't use them as banks, anything can happen.

I have trouble seeing how a 37 year old Fitch that got busted with PED's gets it done against Okami.

But 2.40 odds on Fitch seem good regardless.
