Ngannou looked hopelessly stiff and basic during those workouts -- both footwork and boxing. They are both geniuses in that it's an huge payday for Ngannou (without much loss of face) and easy money for Fury. But this is a circus act -- even more so than McGregor VS Mayweather. Mayweather was very old when he fought Greggy, not the case here. I did not pay for this fight, did not want to encourage them to produce more circus acts but of course Fury would stand up with him -- Francis is stiff, no boxing footwork, no experience and Fury is not washed up like Mayweather was -- so, it's a novelty/circus fight. I'd watch it for free but not paying for it. I am curious to see what it looks like from an entertainment standpoint but I don't want to encourage non serious/competitive fights.
I don't even think Ngannou was able to appear convincing himself like he has a chance -- all he talked about was finally getting his big payday. So -- not looking like he has much belief in victory either and I don't blame him.
All that "yeah, but Ngannou hits hard" reminded me of that time when Pudzianowsky fought Timmeh Sylvia and people were saying "Pudz is stiff but he has otherworldly strength, he may win"! Boxing is a completely different sport and Ngannou looked stiffer with poorer footwork than I imagined. This is Vince McMahon territory.
