Francis Ngannou Currently Uncertain if He Competes in MMA This Year

Win or lose he already made more than he ever did or would have in u fight cheap

Only a simpleton like you with 0 idea about Boxing money thinks he will beg anyone in MMA

He is staring at generational wealth while all these Dana's lapdogs will continue taking brain damage for peanuts & be left wondering why they ever thought MMA was worth it
Francis himself said he'd have made more signing the UFC contracts.

He's literally down money.

Wow so he fumbled the bag after all? Dana was right all along, bald goof bless
Francis himself said he's down $15M by simply not signing the contracts offered to him since Stipe. He made $10M for Fury.

He's presently -$5M instead of fighting for the UFC.

His manager said he'll make another $10M for Joshua. That would put him him +5M yes... except had he signed with the UFC, fought Jones, and then kept his present schedule of fights then in October and March he'd be on his 3rd fight by now instead of his second. $8M purse so long as he kept winning would've put him at another $16M for a total of $31M.

$31M > $20M

He did complain if he lost his pay dropped from $8M (as he'd no longer be on championship pay), but they never told us to what. It's fairly safe to assume though that it would be much more than the $600K he was making before hand, which was only so low because he was refusing to sign a new contract since Stipe, but even on that that he'd make $1.2M just on the lowest possible end for 2 fights.

That would put him at $16.2M < $20M. If he however he dropped to something like $2-3M a fight he's at $19-21M <=> $20M.
If he gets a 3rd boxing match and has another $10M pay he's at $30M < $31M he could've been at with the UFC.

So yes, he's down by not having just fought in the UFC. He also turned down a guaranteed $20M from ONE which is more than he's made in boxing too. Which is why I don't buy his excuses and instead think he's simply done with MMA, whether because his knee never properly healed (IMO as that injuries when he stopped with MMA and said he wants to box) or he just prefers boxing only.

IF he ever returns to MMA, it'll be against a nobody for a circus fight. Zero chance he goes back to MMA full time. PFL gonna be pissed.

Only an inbred like you would calculate things like this, the key words being "so long as he kept winning"

10 million is the minimum guarantee genius

Convenient you forgot things like sponsorship money

Where was that the keyword? We already know he's down $5M by not simply signing the contracts since Stipe. Take it up with Francis himself. Not my fault you're admitting he'd have lost that Jones fight so instead took a $5M hit to avoid that stigma.

The rest was just speculation where even on the low end he's still at where he is now, even before if he'd actually gone and won his 3 fights. Let alone how ONE offered him $20M guaranteed and he still turned that down too.

Francis is just done with MMA, as he himself is literally telling you in OP that he's breaking his PFL deal. It is what it is. Stop embarrassing yourselves pretending it's the money when the figures don't add up for that excuse.

That 8 million per fight was only for the Jones fight dumbo

LMAO. There are still people believing that BS?
Everybody is somehow lying but Francis, who actually definitively did lie by agreeing to fight for PFL by summer 2024 only to back out of that.

Enjoy your gymnastics lessons.

His own coach said it was $8M per fight so long as he kept winning and they didn't want to risk that with Jones being his first fight dumbo

I'm sorry you've been lied to and have to experience this cognitive dissonance because you didn't actually bother just looking into things properly a year ago because you instead wanted to drink the narrative Kool-Aid.

You misread what you posted. His coach didn't say he had 8M$ as long as he kept winning... he said he had 8 million for the Jones fight. With a loss he would've taken a paycut, and with a win he would've renegociated (most probably for way less than 8M$, given that there are no other high profile fights for him at HW).

This is what what his coach has been saying in interviews, if you had bothered to look into more than a simple tweet.

It's hilarious that you boast about doing your research while quoting something that directly contradicts your point. Never change Sherdog, what a man

*Nicksick responds to someone saying it was $8M per fight by saying it wasn't per fight as a loss dropped it down from $8M per fight*

*Random Sherbro: What Nicksick actually meant wasn't what he literally said.*

Okay buddy.

This isn't a surprised I even called it he has to box first because if he loses in MMA then the boxing is done smart move.

Exactly, it wasn't 8M$ per fight. It was a one fight deal to be renegociated, and even with a win it would've been less becasue there is no one in the division to justify another payday.

I won't dig up the coach interviews for you, but if you look them up you will realize you're wrong.

Drop the Nancy attitude

Enjoy shilling for Francis the next time he fucks you over like he did again in this thread about him fucking over PFL.

We may never see him back in MMA, if he can hang with the boxing top 10 because of his power. It makes zero financial sense, even if Ngannou got 100% of the profits to fight some unknown HW in PFL.
He probably gets wilder as well after Johnson

Lol, you resort to name calling when you get called out on your bullshit, keep it up big dog haha
