She wasen't giffted the takedown or the dominant positions on the ground she had in that round. Yea the fight was stoped early but the domination wasent going to end. All her fights end the same once its on the ground, only Eubanks survived, but she has much more skill and grit on the ground compared to Yana. Fought out of a tight rear naked choke as well. In the second Evinger fight Yana was attacking off her back, and when she couldnt do anything she kinda just tapped as soon as Tonya got her arm around the neck. Ladd is way more ruthless on top. Are you comfortable with Yana being on her back against Ladd?

I am comfortable with Yana on her back against Ladd - in the guard only. The only way Ladd's gonna beat Yana is by screaming like a dog and the Ref stopping it. Otherwise Ladd is getting tri-angled or arm barred from the bottom. Ladd will not have the strength advantage here. Only the center of gravity advantage. And her barking of course. She has never stuffed a TD in the UFC, didn't in either of her fights with Tonya Evinger in Invicta as well. Her kicks are easy to catch and she has no balance so falls on her back every time, then when she's on her back she is content to play guard and constantly go submission over position.

There was no video on Yana from Russia prior to her 1st fight with Evinger. At least that's what Lara Sanko said before the fight. So we don't know if she has a 0% TDD. I have notice that when fighters transfer into the UFC from wherever many will have missing or no statistics.

I haven't watched it in forever but there is pre Invicta footage. She fucked up Yanan Wu on the mat. Everyone views Yana as a striker but she's won the majority of her fights via grappling

But since you asked - yes I dislike the girl. I don't like her eyes, I don't like her stare. She is smug. She thinks she is all that. She has a country girl false confidence that comes from ignorance + being undefeated. She owns 3 large dogs and insists on sleeping with her dogs in her bed. She barks like a dog in the ring. Barks at her opponents.

She has the most annoying voice ever. Listening to her talk is the worst. Like fingernails on a chalkboard. I read posts where thirsty guys say she is "hot". They are nuts. If I got drunk and woke up with that voice talking at me - I would run for the exits. Ladd is over hyped. Yea she will improve in MMA and maybe one day be champ - but for now she is a really good smug one trick pony.

And psychologically - she is coming off her 1st loss. Miss country girl confidence - Swiftly defeated in 16 seconds. There (possibly I'm speculating) goes her first mental shoe. Now we shall see how she handles her first defeat .... against a better calmer measured Russian women who doesn't quit after 1 punch.

People are forgetting that yana is the dog, I got her at 2.6. Some fighters just get consistently overrated by the public and the odds reflect that. Ladd is one of them. She barely squeeked out a decision as a heavy favourite against eubanks, who we all know has got 1 round of gas in her, and then she was again somehow a favourite against the far superior de Randamie. Which showed in 16 seconds. Now she is facing a fighter with more experience and a more wellrounded game and of course again she is the favourite. My money is on Yana, I find it pretty obvious she is the valueplay here.
