I have three teenagers (one is almost not a teen anymore) and I cringe to think of leaving them third-world HC. UHC, as you call it.

Obamacare does suck a lot of dick. It's a case study in why centrism sucks. You have a bloody, drawn-out, line shifting battle and end up with something nobody wanted in the first fucking place.

If you're going to go through the acrimony of dozens of supreme court challenges, changing the fillibuster rule etc. you had better wind up with something that people love, if begrudgingly at first. Now you have people who, sure, have insurance for the first time in their lives, but many of them can't afford to use it. I would personally hate that.

When it first came out I was forced to buy overpriced, shitty healthcare.
