Except that even at HBC's, white people can go there too. In fact, back in the day (not sure if it is still the case), Tennessee State offered white students FREE TUITION to go there to try to increase the numbers of white students. So even at HBC's there is an invasion

Because the school wanted it and the state was trying to help the school. POC run the school so all they have to do is say no thanks to the state.

The viewpoint from the "progressive" left is that: being a person of color in America is akin to being handicapped; so special treatment is needed in order to catch up. Equity, they call it.
