Initiative and motivation that capitalism breeds are just as important as fairness and making the workers feel they're vital cogs. Both economic systems fail at their extremes. Yet capitalism tends to give everyone a kick at the cat if money's kept out of politics. Which is an impossibility under the broad definition of Communism as politics are intertwined with production/commerce/labour.

At least that's my take and experience from talking to many people who have actually lived under the hammer and sickle. You could say I'm allergic to some of those slogans and that's why I got pissy with you last time.

We're all good and I felt like a dick after our last exchange.

The thing that's wrong (in my mind) with both systems is people. We can corrupt and fuck everything up given a long enough timeline. The famine mentality is woven into our DNA and we're having a rough go at moving past it as a species But many individuals are. One step at a time.

Do you think employees of the executive branch should have immediately been fired for badmouthing Trump while he was president, or would that make him "omg, Hitler, wannabe dictator"? How about any employee of anything else calling their boss or their company greedy? Immediately fired? What if a fighter says something negative about Dana White?
