Social Kyle Rittenhouse updates

damn gettin real defensive <Lmaoo>there are two different studies that have been reviewed multiple times. the Neidig study is mildly flawed in that it includes violence from spouse to officer but the officer to spouse violence was still around 30%.

just googling “police officer kills wife” will return like 600 different cases over the last couple years. live in denial and pretend you’re innocent all you want, the fact that cops are cowardly losers is well-documented.

and how do they get that information? Surveys? Yeah, real reliable because cops would just admit they beat their wives willingly? They were fucking with them is my guess. What possible reason would compel a domestic abuser to admit that? We used to have surveys like “I sometimes pull over drivers just because they are black” and guys would answer yes even though it was not true just to fuck with the results or other studies that we had to list the race of the driver and if they were searched and everyone put Asian/Pacific Islander on every stop and that they were searched just to fuck with them.

This is one of those cases that for me, is a real conundrum. Kyle was clearly down there to have a conflict and had a long gun ready for that potential fight. When it occurred, he killed two people... even if he was 'defending himself.' And he was, at least in the video I saw.

At the end of the day, I hate everything about this scenario. Kyle, his Mom (What the fuck was she thinking), the people that tried assaulting an idiot with an AR-15, the cops that allowed him to pass right after killing two people and that dumb smirk on his fat, ugly face.

This entire thing is disgusting.

I feel like most people are more in this end of the spectrum rather than people cheering Kyle. This is an incident with a lot of nuance and it's really hard to be entirely either/or, until we get to legal statutes and applying them.

It's easy to argue that a 17 years old probably shouldn't be at a riot with a gun to play cop. Not a lot of people disagree there. At the same time, said 17 year old is still free to use said weapon to defend himself if necessary, even if him being there with the gun isn't the best idea in the world.

At the end of the day, a murder one charge is an applicable legal statute and must be treated as such. It either meets the criteria or it does not, regardless of what you personally feel should or should not have happened or what you think someone may have either thought or intended. If you can't prove their thoughts or intentions legally, then it doesn't matter.

I agree that this is an incredibly nuanced case. Ultimately, I had to think of it like this; Kyle should not have had a gun, almost like a felon should not have a gun, though not the same. But I decided that if that was a felon running from the threat and used a firearm to defend himself, I would support the right to self defense and then deal with the firearm charge. I found cases where murder charges were dropped when a felon used a firearm to defend themselves in life or death situations.

Weird post in a discussion of dudes who beat up chicks.

how so? He was condemning kyle for attacking that girl, as we all should. But we should not fail to recognize Kyle’s right to defend himself from imminent harm regardless of him beating up a girl or saying he would like to fire some shots over the heads of looters. In my opinion, that was frustration that those assholes do whatever they want and get away with it. A lot of people feel that frustration

Weird to talk about beating up chicks in a discussion regarding psychopathic pedophiles getting what they deserve.

See? I can be dishonest, too.

In this day and age of gender slurry who can say what is a male or female. When you want to foster gender confusion then settle in with the idea that everyone is fair game. Punch first and ask about the penis or vagina later. It's a 50/50 crap shoot either way these days.

I think you're implying dishonesty on my part but not sure, if so, what was I dishonest about?

he was?

just so we're on the same page, everyone out there that night when Rittenhouse shot those people were losers. I mean that in the most basic sense, there are no winners or teams here...this was a bunch of idiots out in a dangerous place looking for trouble, both sides, and people died.

There are people advocating that Kyle was out there doing the right thing...there are people in this thread throwing around "he was a pedophile" as if that has anything to do with anything in this circumstance...me bringing up the "Kyle beats up chicks" is just a quip in response to that. Just as Kyle's character being suspect means little in this circumstance outside to the circumstances at hand, so does the character of the sex offender who got shot.

I don't think it's clear at all that he desired conflict. What was clear is that he expected it was a high possibility which is why he armed himself like any sane person would in his position.

What it boils down to is the question: is it legal for a citizen, of his age, to act as a peacekeeper. In most cases I would say no, they should call the police, but in this situation the police made it clear they weren't going to help protect the property of those business owners.

So ask yourself, if the defund the police works, and nobody is coming when you call 911... is it okay for you to confront people who are trying to do harm to others, or do you just need to run away and let criminals be in charge? And if you choose to confront those people is it okay for you to arm yourself, and if not why do we allow the police to arm themselves as peacekeepers?

No, it's not OK for minors to provide armed support, they aren't trained the way actual policemen are. At the very least if these people were authorizing and backing up Kyle they should have had him stay on the property they were there to defend. Somebody fucked up so bad supervising Kyle that it's all crickets when asking what adult was responsible for him.

You are partisan too. Feel stress and frustration just like every other adult does. And LOL at shooting over over their heads. Is that what he actually said? The recording I heard was him stating he wished he had his AR. Apparently that's so incriminating you want to sanitize his comment.
