Hunter Biden sues computer repairman for invasion of privacy over handling of laptop

You have someone claiming he possessed the laptop and admitting he examined it and shared it with multiple sources. How he obtained it is irrelevant, although that could be an entirely separate crime.

That's my opinion, I'm no lawyer.

Do you think it's ethical or legal for a repairman to examine the contents of a laptop and share them?

I think at most he admitted that Gilliar was most likely referring to Joe as the big guy in that message. It looks like Hunter never responded to Gillar's comment in any subsequent messages. Gaetz asks him why it wasn't protested or even talked about in subsequent emails. Hunter replies that doesn't even remember seeing it, which is kind of strange since he did reply to the email.

Am I to understand your testimony correctly that you do not remember whether
or not you protested this concept of an agreement to give 10 percent to your father?
The Witness. Again, I can't answer that question other than to say, is that, if I
had read it and understood it to be my father, I would have protested. However --
Mr. Gaetz. How often do you reply to emails that you don't read?
The Witness. At that time, I think I replied to a lot of emails that I don't fully
read. And you have whatever -- you have all my emails. You have every email that I've
ever written and ones that I never wrote.
And so I can tell you that many times you miss something. You don't see it.
But, regardless of anything, I can tell you this: My father was never an equity holder in
any business that I was ever in. Whatever was proposed here never occurred.

So I have to say, this peculiarity is not enough to impeach obviously, but it is enough to raise suspicion to those that are already looking for something.
I agree with your last statement. It’s fair to suspect and want to look into his dealings. I support congress’s role of oversight.

I just don’t see Hunter admitting that here. I see him saying repeatedly he doesn’t know and then addressing a hypothetical.

Gee, I wonder why your favorite media outlets don't ever talk about the Republican shenanigans and stick to attacks on Democrats they'll never be able to substantiate or prove in court?

That's a lie, I don't have to wonder.
It’s because this kind of news does very well recirculating constantly in the hermetically echo chambers of right wing media, however it does very poorly outside of this echo chamber .

is there any evidence that Joe Biden did anything in this space? Because I don't need some giant dossier to surmise that his dipshit, crackhead, nepobaby son name-dropped "Joe Biden" every chance he got since he was 6 years old. That doesn't mean that Joe actually was in on it. I do not doubt that Hunter would tell people that through him they would have a backchannel to his dad and that he probably grifted millions.

But what about Joe? Anything?
Not a goddamn thing.

What service did Hunter Biden or any Biden, that received $5,000,000 perform?

Quit being a drone. It's pathetic.
"There's a good reason why my guy took in millions from the chinese! So it's ok for my guy to take millions from the Chinese, but it's not okay for your guy!"

Blatant double standards for the cult. But I'm the drone??

Do you know anyone here in Quebec that supported Trump? I do. I know black people in Quebec that support Trump and think he's being oppressed by the system. I know a granola girl originally from South America by way of San Francisco who supports Trump.

These are good people and I've desperately tried to understand them, but they know how unpopular their opinions on Trump are so conversations are difficult.
Many people who voted for Trump in 2016 were not fans. They simply didn't want to vote for Clinton. The same thing happened in 2020. Many Americans were not Biden fans, but they didn't want to vote for Trump.

I disagree with looking down on voters who didn't make the "obvious decision".

maybe this will help. the establishment's reaction to trump woke people up to the crookedness of politics and all the lies they feed people 24/7, and standing against that bs is more important to people than any one person.
Trump has more confirmed and verified lies than any president in history...the last record was set by the last republican that was in office.

I didn't lie about anything. You might be able to read but your reading comprehension is the issue.
You said there was an admission of lying, which you just made up. When asked to defend it textually, you retreated to your usual empty personal attacks because you knew you were busted.

I predict the answer is "No."
Indirectly, yes.

I think we should look down on them much more than we do. I feel that in kind of mainstream society, people give the benefit of the doubt way too much. The fact that many people believe crazy shit about Trump's opponents IMO is not an excuse but a defining of the problem. Sane, decent people need to be on offense more in our society.

It is? I think that's silly talk.
