Elections 1st Republican Presidential Primary Debate (8/23)

Who won the debate?

  • Total voters
    78
  • Poll closed .
It was an inspiring debate in the sense that ideas were once again front and center

They talking about Trump for 5 minutes
As optimistic as this debate was, the problem is going to be that the rank and file might still prefer Trump and chase that empty high all over again. Based on the cheering and booing, it's still Trump's race to lose...sadly.

He's clearly the best candidate. He's also very handsome and slightly overweight which makes him more relatable to the average American.
Slightly?

"break the backs of teachers unions"

Republican contempt for education is sickening, but not surprising since the number one predictor of a republican voter is the lack of education.

I think the Republicans have contempt for the results of our Public Educations system and how horribly it's failing our children, families, and national effort. The Teacher's Unions current incarnation is not about the children and they are sickening. Don't make the claim that they put the children first regarding CV-19. Also, the Unions are a way to fund the Democratic Party of which you are a homer. They have failed in their work and want to continue that fail with little to no systemic changes, except for to introduce CRT and LGBTQ Activist garbage when our kids can't do Math, write properly, comprehend well, and know little of History.

Tax Payer $$$$ >>>> Education $$$$ >>>> Teachers $$$$ >>>> Unions $$$$$ >>>> Democratic Party $$$$

The flow of money is obvious. We could pay teachers $100K a year easily if we could cut a ton of those administrators, cut class sizes, and give parents more input. Most of those administrators are money sucking activists that offer little.

A few misses and hits, I think Ron needs to be more alpha like and be more aggressive some what, He's a vet he had to bullshit with those guys especially overseas so he has those skills.

Pence probably did the over all worse.

Funny how ITT it's mainly leftist posters who are engaged in this debate with only a couple rightwing posters commenting.

Also funny how they seem to be rooting for Christie and Pence lmao (predictable, actually).

That's because right wing voters aren't watching a fucking debate and don't have a clue who half these people are

And yet its republicans who want to push "alternative history" into classrooms like the "benefits of slavery".

There is a few of us here I think the hardcore MAGA guys watched Tucker I am guessing.

I've seen more optimistic abortions.

We’re almost always more well-informed than you guys. A lot of righties will wait for FOX or Newsmax or some idiot like Tim Pool to tell them what to think. They aren’t actually watching this shit, trying to digest these ideas.

You guys hate direct sources most of the time. The congressional interviews as of late, old Project Veritas videos, and the January 6 tapes releasing proved that repeatedly. You're absolutely the biggest consumers of propaganda.
