Just took a year and a half off, and hasn't fought twice in the same calendar year since 2017, and his only win in 4 1/2 years was a close decision with now retired Luke Rockhold. Costa is entertaining, but ffs, let's maybe get a few fights in before calling for a title fight with someone who isn't even champ.

I bet his dream is to again one day hold a win over a fighter still on the ufc roster.

It would be their next fight since the previous one unfortunately got canceled.

Definitely an interesting matchup with Costa, if he can avoid getting KOd early. He is fairly durable and has a very taxing aggressive style to deal with, he could certainly gas Khamzat out and take the fight over at some point.

I don’t know why anyone would waste their time signing to fight this guy. He’s almost certain to pullout and screw the whole thing up.

I've genuinely never been sold on Costa, I'm really not certain what it is that anyone sees in him, that he enjoys so much pop around here. Most of his wins are straight ass, like 185 Hendricks or dinosaur, fresh out of detox Rockhold. Marvin was a good win.

Idk, I was locked up when I ran into Khamzat, those three fights in 3 weeks or whatever it was, 2020, and I wasn't around here to see what everyone was thinking about him, and my reaction at that time was, "This dude is gonna be a monumental problem." I feel like he wins against Costa, easily.
