This is How a President Should Sound in a Time of Crisis: Joe Biden on George Floyd

The key difference between the two is that Biden speaks with intentionality. There's a philosophical core to his thoughts, whether or not that always appears to be the case. In contrast, Trump speaks from his basic impulses and entertains random ideas.

Trump has no real plan or goal, he's shit posting his way through his term and his most primary goal is to be able to do it for another four years so he doesn't go down as one of America's historic failures.

Getting disinfectant into the body along with ultraviolet light... We could look into that!

Lucky I love you. You are a principled man and I do believe that a president should be a leader and that the people should follow that leader. But Trump is not a leader. And the people wouldn't listen to him even if he were.

Maybe Machiavellian philosophy. This guy is playing a political shell game and has more or less proven to say whatever is politically expedient. Trying to make it out like this career politician is some deep thinker suggests that his politicking is, in fact, quite effective.

I think you're right about Trump, but treating Biden as some sort of deep philosophical thinker rather than a cynical, self-serving politician is a shocking misreading of the guy who's now buddying up with Kamala Harris.

You'd think someone with a Hume avatar would be less bullshit prone.

When the U.S. was in desperate need of leadership, the President must've thought it was Halloween and he ran out of candy. So, he turned off the lights, and retreated into the basement.

Bill was basically silent on the Amadou Diallo shooting/protests for a year after it happened.

I don't think he's a deep philosophical thinker, but that he is "normal" in the sense that he believes his political actions should be guided by a foundation.

To be honest, I think Biden is a good person as far as politicians go. This isn't a choice between one awful candidate and one spectacular candidate. It's a choice between a circus and a return to a normal baseline. Once we get there, I think a lot of anxiety will ease. And that will open the door to having more productive political conversations between each aisle.

Right now, how do we expect to accomplish anything meaningful bi-partisan when the leader of one party is this antagonistic and comical?

Biden as of yet hasn't really been capable of hitting a homerun even though Trump has provided him with plenty of opportunities.

For now, I think Biden should just strictly dedicate himself to memorizing and parroting speeches written by better minds than himself. No more "smart remarks" like the "you ain't black" thing, just plain old platitudes and PC narratives for the next 5 months, created by a staff of writers. Biden looks and sounds convincing enough as long as he's not stumbling around with his own thoughts.

If he does that, then a "return to normalcy (a.k.a bullshit)" platform might work for him, like it worked for the likes of Warren G. Harding and others.

He has the look and voice of a U.S. President and to many people that'll be enough.

LOL. Yeah, so they can go vote for the other guy that said "You're not black enough if you vote for Trump" and has a history or racial bias. I can see that TDS has clearly clouded your judgement and making you kind of a nut case.

You're falling for the same bullshit Hillary suffered from: You actually think people are excited enough about the person running against Trump.

THS runs hard on you dont it buddy?

Trump doesn't even have the balls to face the country right now.

He's plugging 2020 election shit on Twitter that doesn't even make sense.

"You ain't black!" - Joe Biden

It don't matter what he says or how he says it. The man has shown his true colors a long time ago. The idea of Joe Biden being sincere or empathetic about anything is just fantasy world stuff.
Lol this post ended your thread on the first reply

Oh my god, this is hilarious.

At 9:15 the anchor begins to verbally strongarm Biden into picking a black woman as his VP.

At 9:54 - Achor : "What if you don't choose a woman of color..." *Biden puts his right shoulder over his chair* That's a very uncomfortably defensive body gesture.

At 10:20 - Biden : "That is not the only criteria I use in choosing a running mate." The anchor is visibly displeased.

At 10:40 - The punchline of the entire segment. I haven't laughed so hard at MSNBC in weeks.

Thank you @luckyshot, after days of all this shit about the riots, this made my morning.

So youre a psychologist now eh? Where you get your Degree at, a Holiday Inn?

Supporting a pedo/rapist is a terrible look. Just saying.

This guy gets it. Anyone who votes for an accused child rapist in Trump has no honor. Why vote for a guy who has been accused of raping a 13 year old girl and is known to have been good friends with Epstein? Not sure why anyone would support a pedo..... I would give you a like Dethroned but cant, good post buddy.

You think only psychologists can read body language, facial reactions, and tone of voice?

I am saying youre no expert and even the experts get it wrong. I saw that as him trying to relax himself. Unlike you I have stayed at a Holiday Inn a while ago so that gives me more credibility.....
