Embezzling is a serious crime, and there's zero chance he'd be able to get away with something like that. One of the signs of the intellectual and moral decay of the right in America is that people think that they don't have to actually think about issues or analyze policy; it's sufficient to just throw out serious and baseless allegations at people if you don't consider them to be in your tribe. Anyway, the point I made that caused your weird response was that a bad CA law makes it much easier for Republicans to get the governorship by recalling the governor than by winning a gubernatorial election, and that's what the recall effort is about (along with an attempt to try to hurt any potential presidential ambition for Newsom).

Trump was impeached for trying to extort Ukraine (using public money) to smear his likely election opponent. Any president in either party would have been impeached for such an egregious abuse of power. The recall of Newsom is justified with a bunch of silly shit that no one actually thinks justifies a recall, but the GOP plan was to recall him before he even took office because the rules make it much easier for them to get the governorship that way.

I voted yes on the recall, and voted for Jackie McGowan “cannabis advocate” because i think the state needs to address some very serious issues in that area. Gavin Newsome’s support of Prop 64, the pseudo-legalization of cannabis, is one of the main reasons i despise him.
