UFC Sao Paulo: Curtis Blaydes vs Jailton Almeida, Brazil, November 4

Lol I found Almeida -8.5pts -130. Basically the same as Almeida ml since I’m having a very hard time seeing that not hitting if he wins. Very tiny limit though. To win $25
that's a ridiculously good line, which I'm not even sure I believe is true.

BOL has Almeida ITD at -525.

Almeida -8.5pts cashes on an Almeida ITD.

It’s legit. Just a stupid line to make. Also hits on a 49-46x3 Almeida Dec, etc

That wasn’t me, but wow… sorry to hear that. That sounded extremely frustrating.

Check your transactions to see if they sent you $ for vip level
where do you check transactions? under pending bets?

And...Hugo and Pichel out.

Sucks the Hugo fight is off since that could've been fun.

Can't blame Pichel declining to take Ismael given the weight miss. Fight was already a tough ask for him, sucks for my o2.5 bet tho.

I remember those. The good old days of 5dimes.

I’ve had no issues withdrawing from bol using btc
5dimes doesn't offer services to the Netherlands anymore either, already lost that book earlier. 5dimes was my main betting account, betonline was my secondary one, and they're both gone now. I'm on bookmaker.eu and unibet currently. But bookmaker has really few props and I'm not sure I will deposit money on unibet yet.

5dimes withdrawal requirements were fairly strict too (multiple ID checks, and had to answer a call from the US from them to verify), but I had no real issues getting my money back from them.

Try jazzsports. I am also based in the Netherlands btw. I am now on unibet, bet365 and jazzsports, all pretty good books in my opinion.

I'll check jazzsports out later, thanks. Just deposited 850 Euro on Unibet, terrible UI, but lots of prop and parlay options. Already looked at bet365, but it seems stuck in a perpetual loading moment across multiple browers, don't know what's up with that.

5dimes went to shit after Tony was murdered. Try LeoVegas. It is pretty much the same site design as Unibet although it's better. Coolbet has solid odds as well.

They don't offer point spreads at casinos but I always thought if you take the -3.5 or +3.5 or whatever the odds might be that if the fighter wins by finish its also a win am i wrong?

Yep, no matter if you're on the + or - side on a point spread, a finish from your fighter cashes it. The points come into factor when going to decisions. You basically add the points if its a + or subtract the points if it's a - from the total score.

Examples:

Fighter A -3.5 spread loses if he wins a 29-28x3 (3 points) decision. Fighter B +3.5 would cash although he lost.
Fighter A -3.5 spread cashes if he wins a 30-27x1, 29-28x2 (5 points) decision. Fighter B +3.5 would lose

Those are just a couple examples of a bunch of different decision outcomes, but you should get the point

UFC weren't happy with Wonderboy not fighting when opponents missed weight. Cant imagine Pichel is going to get much love here even though they're both 100% in the right

He deserves love for gleefully boasting about taking away a fighters ability to earn an income?

Pichel knew he was going to get smashed and didn't want to fight lets just call a spade a spade.

So then how is Alameda only -130 -8.5 lol when fight is like -5000 or whatever to go to a Dec that seems like a mistake on the line oh well good luck on it

That's what I'm wondering also. Should be -500/-550. Stupid line to make. I'll take it, although it's only $25 limit

Taking Brener -3.5 +125. Same price as his ITD but also has a chance at hitting with him winning a comfortable decision

One way to look at it. Another is, you sign a contract to make weight so you are for the most part in control of whether you earn an income. Pichel wouldn't have any ability to "take away" that ability if Bonfim did what he signed up to do.

I remember how much cutting weight sucked for a grappling tournament where not only did I not make any $...I had to pay to get in LOL. And I still did it. Maybe stupid by younger me haha but I told my coach I'd compete at that weight and made the sacrifice to get down to it.

Could be there was something outside of Bonfim's control, gotta leave that possibility open. Otherwise...it's on him. Pichel has no obligation to fight a dude that missed by 4 lbs.

As a fan of Ismael and someone who had him on a parlay as a lock (and had the over on another one), it's 100% Bonfim's fault and I can't blame Vinc for not taking the fight.

The amount was big enough that I'm doubtful Ismael even tried as hard as he could to make weight, so it stands to think, at the very least from Pichel's perspective, that he wanted an extra edge by not compromising himself and pushing through with a hard weight cut.

You're a -500 fav and can't even make weight, not even try to sweat out as much as you can in the last hour? That's just unprofessional as hell.
